BESTEK 300W Power Inverter DC 12V to 110V AC Car Inverter with 4.2A Dual USB Car Adapter

i bought this on October 23rd 2012. my wife and i drove across the country and needed some power.. i have a samsung nexsus phone and i guess the thing needs a lot of juice since a regular car charger (while using Google navigation) it drained instead of charging. this thing is like a wall socket! yes it is a bit loud but like someone said if your on the freeway you wont really notice it (unless youre leisitng to talk radio) even when on surface streets its not to loud, but when you unplug it you think to yourself wow its so quite now, its just kinda white noise. it does do exactly what it said it would do.

The package arrived quickly. It was in excellent shape. I plugged it into my lighter, turned it on, and hooked it up to my pc. Was charging for awhile, but then it cutoff. I replaced the fuse and it blew out again. I am thinking the fan is not turning on. I cannot hear it, and looking at it shows me

Needed to use a bottle warmer for an all day outing. Plus charge several phones. Worked perfectly.

Came as described, great little PSU. Works with a 300w RMS speaker system in my 2007 Chevy Equinox LT.

Good charger with good plug for 12 volt socket. Fan makes slight hum noise when turned on. The USB outlets will charge with power switch off.

I bought this because I desperately need a way to work on my computer when traveling. I had an old inverter from RadioShack that finally pooped out. I bought at least 3 different inverters and NONE of them worked until I got this one!!! So happy this works for my work computer because I was losing hope on finding good inverters. For a moment I thought it was my computer. Phew!! ((And no I’m not working while driving, I’m never the driver when I’m working in the car lol))

Works great and doesnt get hot. I used this for my wife breast pump and for my computer and it never failed.
