> 3 dayUsed 10 4x4s and 12 4x6. Went together pretty easy. Had to sand some of the wood for a smooth fit, but not too much. Need some extra chains to bring the equipment a little lower.

18-11-2024So far I can say there things are heavy duty, they are also heavy to lift and put together with the wood. I am using treated wood, I let the wood sit for about a week to dry, to hopefully get a better fit.

> 3 dayUsed this for daughters silk she wanted. So far works perfect. Didnt have to do anything. Grabbed the impact driver and a drill bit, put the wood in and slapped it together. Everything worked great. Daughter happy

> 3 dayI was reading some reviews about other brands that were more expensive. The review for the other products complained about the thickness of the metal. Based on the other products review, I was thinking this would be the same or lesser quality due to the fact that this price was cheaper, however I was surprised at the quality of metal, and over all sturdiness of the material. Over all, great product and was well built.

Greater than one weekThe leg pockets for 4x4s are the perfect size and lumber fit right in. The beam was crazy hard to fit into the horizontal slot. I think the tolerance is a smidge too tight. I had to trim the end of the beam and pound the brackets with a 10 lb sledge to force it on. My 10 minute swing assembly project became a 2 day saga. Id still buy the brackets because theyre heavy duty, come with the hardware, and the coating is super durable (looks perfect even after frenzied hammering), but man I wish Id known the pocket was slightly too tight going in so I could mentally prepare!

Greater than one weekThe brackets are well made and easy to use, lag bolts included. You may need to sand the sides of the lumber a little to help the brackets slide on easily.

> 3 dayGood value and very sturdy. Took about 1 hour to assemble. Previous reviewers and the product photos note the holes for the 4x6 are not properly located. Seems the mfg took care of this as our brackets have the holes located in the corners. The included lag bolts are galvanized which some reviewers noted is not correct for pressure treated lumber. The chemicals in the pressure treated lumber will cause the bolts to corrode and potentially fail over time. Use of stainless or ceramic coated bolts would correct this problem, but will add cost. If this is a concern, you might price Stainless hardware or consider using non pressure treated lumber. The bolts were about 3/8 diameter by 2 inch long, a 13 mm socket fit the head of the bolt best, so they are likely metric, but this isn’t a rocket ship. The 4x6 fit very snug into the bracket and one side required a bit of encouragement from a mallet. We actually resorted to a 2lb sledge with a scrap piece of wood as a buffer to prevent damage to the bracket and its nice paint. Very happy with this product. Some ceramic coated or stainless lag bolts is really the only improvement needed. Note: fresh pressure treated lumber will be wet and swollen, you might need to shave some material off the ends of the 4x6 to make it fit in the brackets or purchase dry lumber. update: Several months in and it still looks and functions as it should. Plan on burying the legs or use earth anchors if your kids are more than 50lbs and/or like to swing high. It will wobble a bit with larger kids, not dangerously, just potentially concerning for some weak hearted parents, the kids actually enjoy it rocking a bit.

> 3 dayThe brackets are strong and easy to install with standard USA cuts of lumber. I used a 12’ beam and four 10’ treated 4x4s (we wanted the extra height) with two 8’ 2x4 support in the legs. We mounted two normal swings and a disc swing in the middle. You need to toss the normal swings over the legs to clear out for the disc swing to have full mobility to the sides. The stability is pretty good front-to-back (definitely need the 2x4 supports though!), stable enough that a 165 lbs adult can swing, but once you get high enough the legs will begin to lift opposite the person...nothing some big ground anchors or a couple sand bags over the support bars won’t fix. Side to side stability is NOT great. Fine for normal swinging but not the disc swing. The leg angles are only about 11 degrees out to the sides so I will need to add additional lateral support angles from the legs to the main beam if I want my kids to be able to swing sideways/around on the disc swing without tweaking the set back and forth. I’m happy with the purchase overall, we’ll see how it holds up!

> 3 dayWere very happy with the quality of these. The swing went together very easily. The brackets are very strong and heavy duty. We couldnt find a 4x6 cross piece so we used a 4x4 topped with a 2x4. Worked great. Cost of the lumber was $70, swing hangers were $15 at Ace Hardware. Not sure of the swing cost.
