This is a well-built sturdy metal stand; it doesnt slide on the desk, and the laptop is easy to take out and put back in. Saves a great deal of space on my desk. Would I buy it again? This works perfect for holding my 13 Macbook Pro in clamshell mode. It is heavy enough to keep it from sliding around and it is adjustable so it will hold the Macbook with its cover on. I can put my MB in it either vertically or horizontally and it is very stable and sturdy.

This stand is sturdy and nicely matches my Space Gray MacBook Pro. It can be easily adjusted to the right width (with an included hex key) for whatever device you plan to keep in the stand.
