One hundred and fifty squares and all of them unique. What a great idea for a puzzle! All of Bgraamienss puzzles challenging and the Retro Art Squares is certainly no exception. I actually got to solve this puzzle twice. About two-thirds of the way through, I discovered that one of the six letter-identified sections was missing about forty pieces! This in a factory sealed puzzle! I wrote e-mails to Bgraamiens several times asking for a new one, but they never replied. When requested, Amazon promptly sent a replacement. Not a single piece is missing from the new copy! But, it is still most disappointing. The pieces fit so loosely that they dont naturally align with their neighbors. It takes extra care to keep the pieces snug in both horizontal and vertical directions. The cardboard backing of the puzzle must be rather soft, as the piece edges have a decided depression. This gives the completed puzzle something of a washboard effect. At first glance, assembling a puzzle consisting of so many similar shapes would seem very daunting. I did cheat by sorting by the letters stamped on the back of the puzzle. Within each of those sections, I tried to find the solid center of each square, and using the poster as a guide, placed them about where they would belong. Using this approach, and of course building the borders first, the puzzle turned out to be a lot of fun to construct.

Had a lot of fun with this puzzel...it was difficult and took a long time to complete but very fun. We usually finish a puzzle this size in 6-8 hours (spread over days)...but this took 20 hours. Requires careful observation of minute differences in color and pattern. Not for new puzzlers or those easily frustrated!

I loved working on this puzzle and get so many compliments on the finished piece I’ll definitely frame it. Wonderful colors! Love Bgraamiens puzzles: high quality, solid well cut pieces, no dust at all, no missing pieces. The finish is glossy, if that matters to you. A picture is included as well.

I cannot wait to do this puzzle! It reminds me of Victor Vasarelys art work, which I love.

We like the puzzle. Very challenging and good quality pieces. To bad it was missing a piece. We contacted the company by email 2 weeks ago for a replacement piece, like it said to on the box. We havent heard back from them at this time.

This puzzle took a really long time to solve. My family loves puzzle challenges. We take multiple similar puzzles, mix them together, and throw away the box/poster to try to solve them. We dont have to do that with any Bgraamiens puzzles. Once we toss the box and poster, just one of them takes just as much effort as the most complicated four -puzzle solves.
