> 3 dayThese bulbs are great! The light from them is amazing! As you can see in one of my photos, they really stand above the previous clear regular bulbs. The lighting isn’t harsh though. It’s crisp and natural. I have them in my large bathroom and my small one. I highly recommend them.

> 3 dayMatches actual soft white bulbs! I have needed 3 of these already since they came by super fast delivery. They blend perfectly with the existing old school soft white bulbs. They are slightly longer so I see them poking out a tiny bit but its okay. I will see how they last...expect an update when they burn out. Hope its years from now ;)

> 3 dayThese bulbs are super bright and use way less electricity than incandescent. I can get the same lighting out of 1 led bulb as I can with 2-3 incandescent. 4000K lighting is just right, its not yellow but its not bright white, just natural.

24-11-2024TLDR probably any LED bulb you get at 9w is going to be cooking the LEDs so dont expect these to last a long time. Im not going to claim to be an electrical engineer expert, because Im not, but I watched this video Hacking an extra trashy Poundland LED lamp (with schematic) - bigclivedotcom and decided to take one apart to see how it matched up with the bulb in his video. There are 15 led packages on this bulb and the 2 resistors of note are 18Ω and 24Ω which is 10.28Ω total (I measured 10.5Ω with a multi-meter which would equate to ~10w for the bulb) If the 18Ω resistor is removed from the circuit the bulb wattage should drop to ~4.25w If the 24Ω resistor is removed from the circuit the bulb wattage should drop to ~5.6w This will slightly reduce the brightness.. brightness to wattage isnt linear so cutting the wattage in half will still output more than half of the original brightness but it should vastly lower the temps on the leds which should make them last longer. I attached images of the unmodded bulb and modded (removed 18Ω resistor) bulb (ISO and exposure were normalized for the pictures). Distance from bulb to box was 4ft. The pictures arent that great, its hard to replicate light levels you see with your eyes. My bathroom is 8ftx5ft, I put 2 modded lights in the fixture above the sink in the corner and the room was very well lit. Unfortunately I dont have a way to measure the temps of the bulbs but the unmodded bulb bases quickly become hot to the touch whereas the the modded lights were taking much longer to warm up, although after ~15 minutes even the modded ones started to feel hot. Itd probably be worth getting a thermometer to measure prolonged temperature difference.

Greater than one weekThese piece of garbage bulbs die every 3 months and I’m barely ever home. One dies before the other and you notice that when you put a new one in the other appears a lot less bright before it completely dies about a month later. Piece of TRASH waste of money.

> 3 day- Im totally pleased with these so far. Theyre rated as 60-watt-incandescent replacements but I personally think they are actually a bit brighter, which is super because one location is in a ceiling fixture with a frosted cover, and the other is a 2-bulb lamp thats the primary lighting in its room. - One thing I like a lot about these specific bulbs is that the size of the base is pretty minimal, so it does not block any light. The light is not as yellow as is that of incandescent bulbs, BUT it is still a warm tone. So I think it enhances the visibility of things, making them good reading *and* working lights, which is becoming more important to me as I get older. - I received my order quickly, which is always appreciated ;) - I also think these were well-packaged, protecting the bulbs using a minimum of packaging AND it is all recyclable except for one small window. Alternately, its all re-usable ;) - Lastly, the bulbs are well-made: there are no sharp edges or glue-blobs or any of that, and all the parts fit smoothly and precisely. They also are light in weight, no clunkiness at all, more like a normal bulb and therefore, easy to install. They also have a nice appearance, and could be used in a clear or semi-clear fixture. - Ill of course have to see how they hold up, especially the ones in the hallway light that is used very often. - My experience to date with LEDs in general is that they do last long.
