I originally tried the Biotone Advanced Therapy Lotion - Half Gallon which was a good lotion, but it didnt seem to last very long and being in a pump bottle meant I had to buy a pump and the bottom 1/8 of the bottle was practically unusable. I got the 14oz of this product first to test it out. It was thicker and seemed to last much longer. A little bit goes a long way. Now I can use this huge container to refill my 14oz container. I also like that it is paraben free and contains arnica.

In my opinion, this is the best stuff on the market. I have been using this for 19 years now. Clients love the scent and the fact that they don’t feel wet or sticky after massages. When I was in massage school some clients would complain of feeling like they were going to skip when they stood up when my classmates would use something oil-based, but that was never the case with the dual purpose cream.

I like the consistency and fragrance is fine but I developed a reaction to the product and began to itch. I had to take Benadryl and discontinue its use

I am a very successful massage therapist for over 20 years and have tried every oil, lotion, gel, balm and cream out there. Biotone is definetly the very best in many ways. I have never had a complaint and all my clients love dual purpose. I must say that what is most important is the massage and the personality of the therapist that is much more important than what lubricant you are using! It is not the cream that keeps them coming back on a weekly basis for 20 years! However, when you are doing 20-30 deep tissue sports massages, along with relaxing swedish massage per week for 20 years, it is more important that you, the therapist be satisfied with the product you are using. Dual Purpose has a wonderful all purpose glide, and healthy, natural indegredients, and wonderful fresh light scent that everyone loves. I have many clients who loved it so much that they ordered a 1 gallon tub for their own personal use. Also, the Organic Biotone Cream is just as good. Using only the very best shows that you are serious about your massage business and really care about your clients enough to research and purchase only the very best products on the market. Biotone oils and lotions are also supurb and again, it is more important what you the therapist prefer working with, the client is more interested in how you are helping them, not your oil, lotion or cream! Even better is to purchase at least a half gallon of each of Biotones oil, lotions and creams and give your clients a choice of 10-15 different products and let them decide for themselves. Displaying a dozen Biotone products and being able to readily explain the wonderful differences and benefits of each will impress your clients. Also, the containers are very attractive and look fantastic and add a zen feel of success to your hopefully extremely neat and clean and sparse massage room. Biotone = Success and Success = Biotone.

I have been a massage practitioner for almost 25 years. Biotone is my “go to” massage cream. Goes on easy allowing effective strokes and compression. It has very little odor for clients that may be sensitive. A little goes a long way.
