> 3 dayOur bird loves to chew and peck on things but is also scared of new items in her cage. I took the knots out of this toy to make three separate hanging pieces and she’s really taking a strong interest in this new chew toy and no longer bites on things she’s not supposed to bite on,.. this is her first go-to!

> 3 dayI love all the Kabob toys. They are fantastic. I bought this particular one for a conure, and she just loves it. So great for a fun time of chewing and biting and keeping that little beak nice and strong.

> 3 dayMy problem bird seems to like the single column version of this toy better than this triple version. I might take two of them off to get her to chew on it some more. Either way, is better that she chews on this than me! These are great toys for birds. Many birds need to chew on things, and this gives them a safe, fun way of doing it. Keep your birds happy and give them plenty of toys, and be sure to get new ones, or rotate the toys, every two weeks to keep them happy!

> 3 dayI bought this for a cockatiel and I think that this is a bit big for her but she still plays with it from time to time. its not really something she prefers to play with. the toy itself is nice and sturdy and if your bird likes to chew this will be fun for them although may not hold up to a lot of abuse. I would recommend this product but maybe for a larger conure or similarly size and active bird.

Greater than one weekFrodo, our six-month old double yellow head Amazon parrot, loved this chew toy so much he shredded this thing in two days, with 90% of it lying in tiny pieces at the bottom of the cage by the first day. Only the string was left by the end of the second day. Now, if a chew toy so easily destroyed like this one were priced at somewhere under a dollar, or better yet, under fifty cents, I would be writing, SUPER TOY! FIVE STARS! But, the reality is that (at the time of this writing) this toy costs around ten dollars. And since I am not in the habit of putting ten dollar bills in Frodos cage for him to shred as chew toys, thats the last time I will be buying this toy. This chew toy did provide food for thought as to what would make for an inexpensive chew toy. Some immediate ideas that came to mind were to start planting some Yucca trees so as to make some of these yucca-based chew toys myself, and to try hanging some ears of corn in the cage. See commentaries below for more info on how to do this.
