Ive read that these arent the best type of perches for birds. But since I have such a huge enclosure with many types of perches, I figured it wouldnt hurt to try. Its been over a month, and when given the option, my bird does not use these at all. Not even occasionally. Please make sure if you try these out you have a lot of other options in your birds cage too. As far as this product compared to others, it is sturdy and the brackets hold onto the cage well. The sand material is very cheap and comes off when you clean with a sponge. Im glad my bird doesnt try to chew on it because I can tell it would flake off.

I was excited to get these but the quality is really poor. The bold came right out of the wood. I had to use gorilla glue to get them to stay just so I could use them. I really wouldn’t recommend.
