Ill do my best to provide what would be relevant for others. I bought this vacuum cleaner after needing an upgrade after 17 years (my old vacuum still works but just a stick vacuum w/ no attachments). I replaced this after 5 days with a better unit. 1. The best thing I can say about this vacuum cleaner is that the suction is quite powerful, at least when new, but I wasnt willing to take a chance because even though Im not a product engineer, my career is in product development and Ive developed products with motors. The motor in this vacuum is simply too loud. NOT too loud in terms of me being annoyed. Too loud in terms of you can simply tell its a cheap quality motor and working harder than it should. Maybe theres a reason why some reviews say their unit stopped working after only 1-2 months. 2. BUT, speaking of its powerful suction, its inappropriate in how it operates. I vacuumed my living room area rug and OK, I assumed it cleaned it well since a lot of dirt was collected. But most of it was fuzz. I vacuumed over my rug again and the same amount of fuzz. This thing was RIPPING my rug up, literally. Another sign of a cheap/bad motor. Far too aggressive and unregulated. 3. The two attachments (crevice and brush tool) themselves are fine but the hose is without exaggeration the worst Ive experienced. The hose is incredibly short and a thin diameter. Theres no way to use this hose, even when you add the wand attachment to it (which is actually the handle that you remove) for this vacuum to NOT tip over. I started simply holding it in the air with one hand. Thats the only way. 4. This product is far too light and incredibly flimsy. The plastic wheels literally wobble, and theres nothing for me to further tighten. Poorly made. And while it seems many of these vacuums (from various brands) are the same overall design, the handle (which converts to a wand) has an incredibly flimsy connection to the body of the vacuum. Its simply a sad state. 5. I love consumer products and as said, Im in product development, but I find this product to actually be INSULTING. Yes, insulting. Im still single and dont need the most heavy duty vacuum, but I dont think this is even for college students/dorm rooms. I really dont. The reason I find this insulting is that it genuinely feels one level higher than a small childs pretend vacuum cleaner. Its a TOY vacuum with a REAL motor. This is insulting even for vacuuming a 15 year old teenagers room who still lives at home. Should never have made it to market. Im surprised Bissel would put this out there at retail. One thing I saved for last since its more of a personal issue. I like dogs but the fascination with dogs in this country is really unhealthy at this point. *Ive NEVER seen a box for a product like this that doesnt even have a picture of the product. All 4 sides have pictures of dogs with so many statements that Bissel donates some proceeds of each unit to dogs. This is going too far and unhealthy, and exploitation of a trend. This isnt even a vacuum cleaner for pets (not like it would make it OK but at least it would be a bit more understandable. I was going to upgrade to the next level Bissel which may be a good vacuum but because of the thing with pets, I went with a Eureka. The Eureka came without silly proclamations of pet donations. It had proclamations as it should - as a vacuum. And a much better product.

As someone who was looking for a vacuum cleaner for their apartment, I tried the BISSELL CleanView Compact Upright Vacuum and found it to be a decent option. On the positive side, the vacuum is lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it simple to clean even tight spaces and corners. It also has a relatively powerful suction, allowing it to pick up dirt, dust, and debris from both carpets and hard floors. However, I did find that the vacuum had some drawbacks. For one, the dustbin is relatively small and needs to be emptied frequently, which can be a hassle. Additionally, I found that the vacuum can be quite loud when in use, which might be a problem for some people. Overall, I think that the BISSELL CleanView Compact Upright Vacuum is a decent option for those in need of a vacuum cleaner for their apartment. While it has some limitations, it is relatively affordable and effective at picking up dirt and debris. That being said, if you have a larger space to clean or are looking for a more powerful or quiet option, you might want to consider other models.

I literally just got this less than an hour ago and I was so excited to try it out. It was SO easy to put together. Alot of other reviews mentioned it being loud but its no louder than my old vacuum so that doesnt bother me. Its very easy to push around and cleaned up my dog and cat hair very well. I had to dump it twice because I havent vacuumed in about a week but it was so easy to clean. I am very happy with this purchase

I wasn’t expecting this little vacuum I pulled out the box to have this much power to it. I have a long-haired dog and I haven’t been able to vacuum for almost a month other than trying to sweep it with a broom. Anyways, this vacuum did very well picking up that hair that’s been trapped in my carpet for a month. Overall recommend if you’re on a budget and it does well with animal hair.

I bought this angry toddler version of my upright because the power is amazing.I vacuum daily with 2 cats,in my home, I need to vacuum furniture, and get under things, and those tight corners,so thought getting something smaller and easier to manage this would be perfect.I am only 4 ft 11,and have some limits in strength and movement,I even found this hard to use as an upright due to the height. The reviews here said with the attachment hose it reaches ceilings,or up to 10ft,in my brain that sounded so great, but what happened when I used it I had to carry it in one hand and try to reach with the other, and when I left it on the floor in an attempt to vac the couch cushion,it tipped over.I also hadnt paid attention, but it has no settings,so if I just want a light suction, that wont happen, its just one,so at least it is powerful It is more complicated than a handheld, and more awkward than an upright.I think it would be a great personal vac so if you are sitting in a gaming chair eating cheetos, and spilling crumbs, you can just keep it plugged in and ready, and vac your mess while you are still in your chair. It is a space saver, can handle heavy carpet,or bare floors, but there are so many other types of vacs that are less awkward,I will say the price and the suction are good,so if you are in a dorm and dont have money to by a vacuum that has all the features of a heavy upright and attachments to easily maneuver small areas, the standard model never failed me,so I dont really need both, but will probably find use for it I am moving, possibly to a bi level,it would come in handy to have a small one upstairs to save me trips with the full size one,I think it might be good on stairs too,but havent tried it.It is uncomplicated, bagless, your choices are on or off,no longer hoses,or anything to keep the base from tipping over comes with 2 attachments, and its cute.Overall good price, but if money isnt an issue get one of those multi functional ones. With full size chords, and multiple attachments,or even one of those light weight uprights.

I needed a small, compact little vacuum for my recording studio, which has a large, thick shag rug covering most of the floor. This thing SO did the job and got the rug so clean I barely recognized it (I didnt realize what a terrible job my old vacuum had been doing... this one picked up so much dirt, debris and hair that my other vacuum had been missing). The suction power is insane and much stronger than some of the more expensive vacuums Ive tried. Super easy to use, super easy to assemble and exactly what I needed. A total steal for the price, I heavily recommend! My rug is finally spotless.
