> 3 dayI like the size and the suction for dog hair. The carpet attachment is good. I also like the long electric cord. You really need the separate side air deflectors. The other attachments are good. The only negative is when you push on the side deflectors, it makes it impossible to store the unit and attachments in the box and Im afraid of losing some attachments. I now need to buy some type of container to store everything. It would be better if the deflectors were included with the vacuum.

> 3 dayI got this little vacuum for my laundry room. I have 3 dogs and that means I get lots of hair along with lint in my dryer filter. When I wash the boys kennel bedding the fur level is at its peak. But everyday washing still generates a lot of lint and some fur. I used to drag my large upright vacuum into the laundry room put the hose and extension on and then have to walk and work around it just so I could vacuum the fuzz from my lint filter and off the floor and that nice little spot between the filter and the door that just likes to catch every piece of fuzz and fur and who knows what imaginable. My laundry room is in one of my bathrooms and if I didnt get the laundry all done that day, the vacuum would stay in there and really be in the way. So began my hunt for a little dust busting vacuum. This little sucker has a hose attachment with just the right tip so I can get into the lint filter cubby and all the other little spots lint builds up in. It does get full quick because now I just suck the entire lint filter clean with it. But it has some serious suction and picks everything up. Its nothing like the dust busters I remember from my childhood that my mother would fight with because it was worthless. The cord is very long. Its a very light unit making it a snap to carry and store. The tank snaps off with ease and you can carry it to the garage without it dropping its contents everywhere. The fan on the side is very powerful and the filter does a great job. Overall this little unit is impressive and the $40.00 I spent on it is nothing compared to its convenience and friendliness.

Greater than one weekIm halfway through a 4-week stay at a hotel and Ive got my cat with me. Leading up to this transition between my old home and my new one, I was apprehensive at the thought of living in such close quarters with my cat, dealing with his hair and tracked litter. Yuck!! Ive had my Bissell handheld vac nearly 6 months but previously only used it occasionally - under normal living conditions, its the full sized vacuum that gets used. But here at the hotel I use the hand vac daily. I have a lidded plastic container for the vac. Pulling it out, plugging it in and getting rid of the bits of litter and then shoving the vac back into the container couldnt be easier. It isnt too heavy, I love the placement of the on/off switch (you can easily turn it on and off with the hand youre using to hold it) and the cord is long enough that I keep part of it wrapped up in the pre-attached velcro strip. I find that I mostly use the straight piece rather than the rubbery attachment. If anyone is contemplating living in a hotel room - or other small space - with a cat, heres how I avoid having to deal with stray pet hairs going up my nose ... I place the cat in the dry bathtub, sit on the edge, and brush him down good with his rubber Kong brush. As anyone knows who has used one of those rubber brushes, they accumulate a lot of hair and while most of it sticks to the brush some of it flies around a bit. After Im done, I use the hand vac to clean off any cat hair that has stuck to the tub. I also have a sheet that I cover the bed with during the day and in the evening I hold it over the dry tub to shake the cat hair off, then use the hand vac in there. So thats my story. Oh, and it also works great around your tv chair if you happen to scatter bits of popcorn. :)

> 3 dayReally like this vacuum. I have owned it for two years with no issues. It has plenty of power and does everything I expect it to. I had a battery powered one prior to this and really disliked it because I couldnt get through one set of stairs without it dying on me. That was the reason I purchased this one. The hose is very useful and takes care of the problem some people were complaining about with the air blowing stuff around. I highly recommend spending the extra $10 to get it. We have a cat and a lab and this handles the hair just fine. One note that could improve the product. The cord could be removable near the base of the unit. I know this voided the warranty, but I cut the cord and installed a connector near the base. This allows me to unplug the unit when I need to empty it and not take the entire cord with me. Dont do this if you dont know what you are doing when it comes to electricity. I do that kind of stuff for work. Pros: 1) Powerful 2) Can do one set of 13 stairs before needing to be emptied 3) The attachments are handy 4) Doesnt need to be charged 5) Not to heavy (Average size man in 20s) Cons: 1) Cord was a little cumbersome until I fixed it

> 3 dayI have owned two of these little vacuums...use it mostly on my stairs and does a great job. My only complaint is that the handle is hollow and eventually will crack with frequent use. Had this happen with both vacuums and with this last one, I husband-rigged it with lots of electrical tape and am still using it!

Greater than one weekI have a long haired cat that kitty litter gets stuck in the fur on her feet and she tracks it out all over the carpet. This works GREAT for vacuuming that litter up. Not so great for hair, but I have another one for that .....I do like this and bought another one

> 3 dayI wanted to love this machine, but it just didnt happen. I bought it to use on my stairs, since my regular vacuum is a huge upright that falls over really easily when using the handheld tools. I wanted a corded handheld so that over time, I didnt lose suction power as the battery deteriorated. First issue: the wide attachment has two strips of fabric, one on either side, to help pick up hair. On the first stair, one strip came off. THE VERY FIRST USE! How is this going to last me for years when something falls apart on the first use? There was still some glue residue on the tool, so stuff was getting stuck there instead of being vacuumed up. The second issue I had could easily be overlooked if I didnt have any other problems, but since I did, it was just one more tick against this vacuum. The cord length is very awkward. It is really long for a compact little machine, but just barely too short to clean an entire flight of stairs. I had to pause part-way though the stairs to move the plug to a different outlet, but still took a long time to wrap the cord up, and it takes up just as much space as the handheld itself. The third issue to me is the worst: after one flight of stairs, I had to let it sit for over 2 hours to cool down before I could use it again. I could not believe how hot it got so quickly. Very worrisome. The pro of this handheld is that it did have pretty good suction power, but if you arent using the attachments, you have to hold it at the perfect angle to take advantage of the suction... kind of annoying. Overall, was not impressed with this product, and I dont think it is worth the price. Returned it. Normally, I trust Bissell products, and have replaced this with a different Bissell machine that I am much happier with. I dont have pets, so I cant comment on how well it does with animal hair. Maybe thats all its good for.

> 3 dayMy car needs frequent vacuuming because I track a lot of dirt in due to my job, plus Im always on the go, so make up and food gets everywhere. The vacuums at the gas station never work and cost money. Lugging my real vacuum outside is a pain. I didnt want a rechargeable vacuum, because they rarely have good suction and the batteries eventually lose their ability to retain power. This little vacuum eliminates all of the aforementioned issues. Suction is great, its small and takes up very little storage room, and taking it outside it not a hardship. The attachments are perfect. No complaints.

> 3 dayThis is a very good vacume . Just what I wanted. My only complaint with it. Is the way it was sent . There was no mailing box with a shipping lable and no way to return it due to a lack of address information or return shipping . So if I had to return it, I wouldnt know where to send it and I would have to pay the postage and a box to return it in. That was a little disappointing to me. The box wasnt even taped shut ! Other wise it is a good product and would recommend it to others. Sincerely Mrs. Mary Villemure

> 3 dayI really want to like this vacuum more because it works so well on getting pet hair out of the carpet (I have a rabbit). This is the 3rd vacuum Ive bought to try to help clean up her pen and the wide mouth without any tubes helps with the stray bits of hay too. But the vent on the sides blow up the dust/debris before you can get to it. Its pretty frustrating! Luckily I read reviews knew to put some paper around the vents to re-direct the air (but it felt like it was getting kind of hot). I thought the reviews might be exaggerating, but its strong enough to blow stuff around on carpet and it was especially bad on our hardwood floors. Someone suggested using the tube attachments to get around this, but I want to use the rubber for the hair and I found that hay kept getting stuck in the tube when I tried on a different vacuum--maybe a problem particular to me. Update: I taped cereal boxes around the vents to make them point up and that helps it not blow away fur/dust not make it get hot. I wish it had been designed better at the start!
