BISSELL Revolution HydroSteam Pet Carpet Cleaner, 3432

Greater than one weekI got this mainly to steam clean some large area rugs that I have. I was thinking about having them professionally cleaned, but now I can do it myself. This doesnt work on silk or delicate rugs, and the instruction manual says to check the manufacturers tag and testing for colorfastness before cleaning. What I found disappointing was that the hose and tool dont use steam, because I would also have liked to steam clean my couch and upholstered chairs. I want sure whether or not I could also use it on my tile floors, but after researching that, it seems like a bad idea. I probably should have considered a multi-surface model, but I do like the Hydrosteam feature and that cleaner can be used.

> 3 dayI tested this out on an IKEA mattress (flat woven fabric) with a soda spill. The machine left behind nearly all the solution. I bought this to work dual purpose for a hand tool and the carpet features but was extremely disappointed. The Bissell little green does exponentially better without the idea of steam. Returning this as it is not worth the money or the hassle of talking to Bissell. Also the Bissell website sells theirs with a tray to guard the carpet while using the hand tool. This does not come with one and you have to tilt the machine to save the carpet while using the hand tool. Bissell really missed the mark. I was so hyped to get this and completely disappointed in the same instance of using it for the first time.

> 3 dayI previously had a Hoover carpet cleaner and recently switched to this Bissell. First, it is about 35% wider, has a steam mode, has gallon fresh water tank, 2 brushes and handheld attachment. It works way better than expected, which is always a nice surprise, however I havent used attachment yet. Tip-Use hottest water from tap for best results.

Greater than one weekNeeded a shampooer for my house carpets and car seats and carpets! Tried multiple different ones none had suction this one seemed so majic for me!! Definitely worth its money I don’t have to pay for a detailer to clean my seats and carpets!!

> 3 dayImportant things to note: • Handheld attachments cant use steam • Wont make old carpets look brand new • Uses tap water to fill • Great at removing allergens • Handling and assembly is easy • Top comes off the dirty water tank making it easy to clean The handheld attachments can be used to vacuum up wet and dry messes. Steam does not flow through the hose. The long hose attachment would be great for carpeted stairs. It definitely can help lighten old stains on carpet, just dont expect perfection if its a really old stain. I used it on a 4+ year old soda stain and it definitely helped lighten it up and made it way less noticeable. The steam pre-treat was exceptionally helpful in removing/lightening stained areas. There was an area in front of my entertainment center where my dog had peed multiple times. I used the quick dry mode in this area. It made a noticeable difference. The carpet dried quickly. For the rest of the carpet, it does very well to help remove allergens and to really get a deep clean into the carpet. Great item for anyone that suffers from allergies and/or has pets that tend to leave messes behind.

> 3 dayAfter spending 3hrs of cleaning pet pee and carpet stains, using all the Bissell detergents, carpet was soaked and still stinky. This machine barely has steam or suction to get detergent and water out. Honestly, it’s an excuse for the lazy housekeeper. Had to get the shop vac and scrub instead. Cheaper than buying this. $400 wasted.

> 3 dayI have been wanting a machine like this since the pandemic times! Seriously!, I will do another review to give it a another high mark rating. But…… there is some improvement that needs to happen also. Like bigger clean water tank and dirty water catch tank. And .. better accessories attachments ( a little more extended hose attachment for steep stairs) Thanks yaw

> 3 dayWe owned a Hoover Carpet cleaner for 6 years, and it work nicely for us. The cleaner died of an electrical issue. I looked online for a product to replace it. Bissel Revolution was my choice, and I got it right. It is so much easier to clean the unit with pop off cover over the brushes. I used to struggle with the attachments on my Hoover, never could get it to lock properly without spilling water everywhere. This Bissell just snaps and clicks, so easy. The two features that were better on Hover was a bigger water tank, and Hoover had two tanks which mixed without me trying to see the lines on the water tanks. Emptying this unit is a breeze compared to my Hoover, which I had to snap and click.

> 3 dayThe steam does not work. I’m disappointed as this is the feature I was most looking forward to. In addition, there is no rinse feature so the soapy water residue stays on the carpet. I expected better.
