Not completely blackout, but keeps 95% of the light out of the room. Looks cute with the star pattern. I was pleasantly surprised by the material quality and how thick these curtains are. They will last a long time and I plan on buying some for our other bedroom as well.

I got these for my teenage daughters room, and shes in love with them. I also got the dangling star lights (From Amazon too) to hang over the curtains, which has several light settings, for whatever her mood may be, and shes really excited about it all. Teenage Girl Approved!

I honestly had my doubts since many curtains say “blackout” and they actually aren’t or they’re more room darkening. I really doubted it truly being blackout when I felt the material. But, to my surprise, they really are blackout!! My sons room is almost completely dark thanks to these curtains. I did have to use a rod that is closer to the wall, but that’s with any curtains. SO happy I bought these! Also, the material is very nice and soft! The first photo was taken at 10 am, the others at 11:30 am. The sun is directly on the left windows side of the house.
