> 3 dayCouldnt have ordered a better replacement. Item arrived in perfect condition and is of very high quality. I cant tell the difference from the original. Touch is very prompt and responsive. Installation was a bit of a pain due to Samsungs design. To remove the back panel you must do so from around the edges of the screen which is challenging due to the adhesive. Be sure to apply heat from a heat gun, or hair dryer to remove. The replacement digitizer has adhesive pre-installed so be sure to remove all remaining residue from old glass for a snug fit. The tools are cheap but keep in mind you are not buying this item for the tools so its unfair to give the digitizer a lower rating because of that. Overall very satisfied with the product.

> 3 dayScreen (glass/digitizer) was received well packaged and worked great upon testing. I did not use the included tools because I had my own so I cant say much for those. The screen comes with a front and back film protector, which you do have to remove. The back protector is not just fro the screen but for the adhesive. There are various ways to install this according to YouTube. The one I tried was where you put the screen last after you put the back cover back on the tablet. Problem with this is, you cannot open the new screen too much or else the ribbon cable gets dislodged. The other method is to put the screen onto the LCD and then snap the back cover in place. One youtuber says doing it that way will make it very difficult to align the screen. Anyway, everything went well for me but when I removed the front film protector, I found out that there was a small but noticeable piece of glass shard or something on the top part of the screen. Unfortunately since I am a perfectionist, I could not leave it like that. So I removed the screen again, but the adhesive is really strong, so I ended up tearing most of the adhesive and maybe because I bent the screen too much there is now some weird distortion in the glass maybe from stress (see picture). Everything went back together fine, but the screen is lifted along some parts of the edge due to the adhesive being torn and not able to stick well in those places. So here is my suggestion, first remove the front film protector so you can see clearly if there is anything on the LCD or screen. Remove the back protector to expose the adhesive. The static from removing the back protector may cause dust or lint to be attracted to that screen. Then as you lower things slowly keep looking out to see if there is anything between the LCD and screen. If you see some noticeable dust or lint, carefully lift up the screen just enough to remove that. Please note unless you are in a dust free zone, you will have some particles, but again you are looking for larger noticeable pieces. If everything looks good, slowly continue to lower the screen onto the LCD and align it at the same time. Then once it is down, press the screen into place. You may want to even put the tablet upside down with the screen down, and place books on top overnight. Also make sure to get all the old adhesive off. Use a heat gun to make it easier, and if you can pull up some of the old adhesive, you can use the old adhesive to stick the remaining adhesive on the frame to each other. For me I guess I will have to live with the screen the way it is because honestly I dont want to deal with it again. Perhaps one day when it breaks again, I can do it right!

> 3 day+4 stars for the screen and -1 for the tools. The screen fitted and work great. I fixed this for my niece and she is very happy to have her tab working with no cracks again. I will buy again if the screen ever needs to be replaced again.

But now since Ive replaced the screen the home button back button and the menu button isnt working and its very hard to get anything to work on the screen when you push on it. Can someone help me so I can get this thing to work. My kids are going crazy because they cant use it.
