Greater than one weekAfter changing the screen the home button did not work. I had to take off the screen and in the process it cracked. Now I have a cracked screen again.

> 3 dayFirst time ever replacing any type of screen on a device and it was easy. Made the iPad look like new. The only down fall is that the touch ID on the iPad did not work. Pressing the home button works fine.

> 3 dayI have replaced my daughters iPad a few times and this one was easy to install. The other ones I had trouble with the bottom right not sticking but this one was like it should be. The iPad screen I bought from another Amazon account had a dead spot at the top so I bought this one and its working great!

> 3 dayOverall great screen replacement, however the adhesive is not up to par. Better use double sided tape or glue to secure in place. I ordered 2 for 2 Ipads and one went in smooth, however the second screen for some reason had scuff marks and prints on it. I thought it was the protector and once I took it off to finally secure it it would go away. Nope it was actually the screen itself. And I had gloves on and changed gloves for safety after every step (i.e taking old screen apart, replace gloves, put new adhesive, replace glove, etc) overall good quality just down on the scuff marks

19-11-2024This worked really good my tablet needed a replacement and I didn’t want to pay 300+ for it the adhesive also stuck together really well and didn’t need any extra glue.

> 3 dayScreen kept coming up due to poor adhesion and when I tried to secure it down, the screen cracked easily (I was not using a lot of pressure). Do not recommend.

> 3 daySlim and seems to protect well. I like that it doesnt add much size to the tablet.

> 3 dayThe toolkit that comes with the screen is decent, however the Screen itself is extremely flimsy, durability is almost non existent. The screen cracked almost immediately after replacing from just a bit of pressure around the home button. My advice is to look for a higher quality digitizer screen option then this if you want a repair that is durable and last more then a day or so.

> 3 dayI ordered the 3rd replacement, just so happened to be the same as the 1st screen. I added b 7000 glue, then let the weight of books help hold it down. He screen is great and doesn’t appear to be lifting like the 1st time. I watched a few videos before ordering and replacing. A heat gun is your friend, I don’t think a hair dryer will help with the extremely sticky tape. I didn’t care about the Touch ID not working with the replacement screen, but I saved the original just in case I would later want it. If your screen is cracked, but the touch screen is responsive, this inexpensive screen is a life saver. It took me maybe 25 minutes from start to finish but I have had a few other Apple items apart. Update: Maybe it was me, or that the iPad has a small dent in the bottom right corner and the tape didnt stick properly, but the screen is separating from the tape both up the right edge and to the left on the bottom edge giving it ghost touches and unresponsive areas. I am ordering a replacement to the replacement screen in hopes that the 2nd time will work longer than 1 month.
