Before buying this, I would simply mix water and protein powder in a cup with a spoon and drink it like that. Unsurprisingly, a spoon is not as good at mixing as a blender or a shaker cup would. I hated the texture of my drink, the taste was off-putting because of the lack of correct mixture between the water and the powder. After buying this however, I actually love my protein powder now because this shaker actually mixes really well along with the fact that its incredibly easy to clean and maintain. I simply wash it out with water and soap, then another time with just water and let it air dry. 100% recommended.

This is one of those products that you think you dont really need. It seems like a silly gadget to have cluttering up the kitchen when there are other things you already own that could just as easily do the same job. You think that until you get one. And then you wonder what on earth was wrong with you that you waited so long when such a great tool could have been yours for a measly eight bucks. Im going to be completely honest with you. I do fancy myself an amateur chef, and I do make the occasional salad dressing, marinade, dipping sauce, what have you from scratch. And this is a fantastic tool for that. But the real reason I bought this bottle is because I really love chocolate milk, and the stuff that comes pre-made in a carton from the grocery store just doesnt hold a candle to the Nestle Quik I loved as a kid. But as we all know, making Nestle Quik with a glass and a spoon just never turns out the way you want it to. Either you spend 15 minutes mixing it up until your fingers cramp, or you just get it mixed completely and then have to drink it really fast before the unmixed mix starts to sink to the bottom. Not so with this little baby. Throw the Quik and milk in the bottle with the whisk ball, close and shake for 30 seconds or so, and you have cold, delicious Quik that stays mixed (not that I dont drink it really fast anyway). Then you just shake a bit of dish soap and hot water around in it, and its easily cleaned and ready for your next chocolate craving. Sure, sure. You could make your gourmet sauces or whatever with it. But we all know what youre really going to use it for. And its fantastic for that.

This changed my life. I have used protein regularly for years, trying different brands based on availability, flavors, and deals that Ive found. Each brand and flavor has had varying degrees of mixability with most resulting in a chunky mess when shaken in a regular bottle. With my most recent protein purchase (BodyTech) I was beginning to get fed up with my gloopy protein shake after my workouts and decided to see what the fuss was about Blender bottles. The fact is that it just works. That little metal ball does what your regular bottle cant, blend your protein into a smooth and palatable shake. In addition to that, the build quality is high. I get the sense that this will last a very long time. Pros: + Metal ball blends your protein perfectly. + Solid, thick plastic construction. + Sturdy screw top. Cons: - None.

My SO lost the ball in his previous shaker, so we got this one to replace it. It’s pretty standard, and overall would recommend. This shaker also makes sure that whatever youre blending stays really smooth. Sometimes, I use this for one of my supplements (which tastes horrible when clumpy), and the smoothness of the blend makes it *so* much better. The size is also great - if I want to double up on something, this bottle can hold enough to do so (without skimping on the liquid). It’s pretty easy to clean as long as you don’t have something super thick/powdery and let it sit. It’s also really convenient to have so that we don’t have to clean the blender every time he gets back from a workout.

Good price and great value

I just ordered 2 more of these after trying out my first one for a few weeks! I never thought Id be this pleased with something so simple as a smoothie bottle! For YEARS Ive been buying my smoothie bottles from Body Factory, and while their smoothie mix is absolutely incredible, their bottles are cheap, easy to break, and... well, that was my biggest problem. I needed something new. I got my blender bottle in the mail and was immediately struck by how much thicker the bottle was. I loved the carrying loop (and indeed, its been very convenient), and I didnt even know the blender ball was included, but its PERFECT for making the Soylent Ive been trying out (I make my Body Factory smoothies in the blender, so no ball required). I was a little concerned that there wasnt an air hole, and that the round shape of the mouth hole would be weird, but I dot used to both right away. The top screws on air tight, and with the mouth hole snapped shut, I can re-shake the contents and it is completely secure. And yes, Ive already dropped my Blender Bottle a few times, and though its a little scratched up, it hasnt broken. I couldnt be happier!

I just recently started working out again after a 10 year hiatus. I used to be a meat head loser now am just a fat dad loser looking for a little definition so I am not suicidal when I take my shirt off, lol. Back in my gym rat days a shaker bottle was a gym staple so naturally I needed one before I could even consider working out again! This thing worked surprisingly well, especially for the price. The shaker bottles o remember had a mesh like grate at the top and always left dry powder in the bottom and some clumps. This thing blended protien powder smooth.

i’ve used these for ever. easily to clean! i don’t trust straws and frankly i’m not tryna clean a straw. the opening is big enough for me to gulp if i need and the bottle can be carried in cup holders. i prefer the blender bottles with he ring on top so i attach a clip and i’m off.

I’ve used it for over a year and it’s been good with water, the only issue is if I put anything other than water it stains on the inside pretty easily
