Bloc Loc Half Square Triangle Multiple-Sized 6-1/2 Quilting Ruler with Grid Lines

I have several sizes of bloc loc rulers and love them. I bought this one for 5” blocks but it didn’t work like the others. I recommend looking at Utube video for this 61/2” ruler. It is used a little differently than others

Saw this used often on Missouri Star tutorials and it is worth it!

I like that I can use this size for even smaller HST. Its a bit pricey, though.

This ruler is the best for half square triangles. It locks right into the seam. I was using other rulers to square off, but they sometimes slip off the seam. It might be expensive, but well worth the money and time.

This half square triangle ruler is perfect to trim those half square triangles, allowing for that seam bump that can throw off your trimming!

Started using this ruler/squaring tool and it definitely is a game changer. Was very pricey for a piece of plastic, but having the right tool really helped. Now all my HSTs are square and not wonky. A must buy if you want to get better with your quilting.

As a more beginning quilter this tool was invaluable in helping me square up all the HSTs for a quilt I made my sister. It was made entirely with half square Triangles and if they arent squared up properly, things can go wonky super fast. This tool let me easily and quickly square up my blocks and made sewing everything together that much smoother. Ill definitely be purchasing more Bloc Loc rulers. This was my 1st quilt that ever required half square Triangles, and only the 6th quilt Ive ever made, and Im so glad I had this ruler to help me. Im working on the Ribbon Runs Thru It BOM kit, and there are a gajillion half and quarter square triangles in it. I have NEVER been fully successful with HST and QST before - that is, until I invested in one of the best rulers EVER! Yes, I could trim my HST and QST triangles with any ol square ruler, but the ruler always slips just a bit, and those pesky corners are just 1/16 or 1/32 off. My anal-retentive nature just wouldnt accept anything less than spot on, so the Half Square ruler to the rescue! My blocks all trimmed perfectly, they nested perfectly, and they sewed perfectly. I was also able to use the 1/2 markings to trim my QST - BO-NUS! Buy it - youll be glad you did!
