> 3 dayIm so confused by this product. We just got it and its very cute. The lunch box is NOT a lunch box. Its a drawstring purse, not insulated, and not at all sturdy. Sadly, I will return as this will not work for my daughter. She eats cold lunch daily. The backpack is beautiful, but the lunch bag will not work. Update: The company has been in contact with me and is making this right. It tells you in the description that it is a lunch tote. That was MY mistake for not understanding that part. You cannot use the one in this set for lunch though. The company has been WONDERFUL to work with.

> 3 day*Ive waited to write this review until at least half way through the school year* I purchased this set for my now 4th grader at the start of the school year. Admittedly, the condition of a backpack half way through the school year, is a scary thought. Yes, my child throws it around, over fills it, spills God knows what on and in it, has probably sat on it or kicked it a few times. That said, my review will be taking that level of abuse into account. For starters, the color/ design: so beautiful. I was relieved that it was a floral design that appealed to a little girl. Its much prettier than what youd find in stores and a better alternative to the played out cartoon character themes that all the kids have. The tan worked well in contrast to to the floral design. Whats more, we were able to match all her other school supplies to the color patterns on the backpack. As for sturdiness, this backpack is extremely sturdy. She carries in it daily: a chromebook in a carrying case, headphones in a hard case, a normal size spiral notebook, 2-3 soft cover books, sometimes more, a full water bottle in the side pocket, a couple of folders and some miscellaneous items, including the occasional sweatshirt. The seams are all still in tact and the straps havent given up yet either. Our biggest problem area is often the adjustment straps - after a while, with lots of weight, they tend to give up and/ or break, making it impossible to adjust the bag anymore, to account for bigger coat, fuller bag, e.t.c. Im happy to say that thus far, this is not an issue. In a couple spots, you can see some mild wear to soft fabric on the handle or the straps, but nothing major or unexpected for the amount of use the bag gets. Durability:The zippers all work great, nothing jammed or broken off yet. The actual fabric of the backpack, with the floral design and all, is surprisingly durable and heavy. It also seems to be water proof to an extent. Its been rained on, had some things spilled on it, and was very easy to just wipe clean... no stains, spots or fuss. Dried fast and everything inside the bag was also dry. The front zipper compartment, drink pockets on the side and inside compartments are all incredibly spacious as well as durable. I often find one or all of these areas to be inferior to rest of the backpack design in strength and durability, however this is not the case in this backpack. As for overall spaciousness: as stated above, she carries a lot in her backpack. Ive provided pics to demonstrate all the room. I was a little skeptical at first about the size of the bag meeting her specific packing needs, as it is a little smaller than the typical backpack. What it lacks in height it makes up for in width. Also it leaves enough room at the top for the standard size laptop, binders, books, e.t.c. In fact, Id say this is easier for her to carry being that its not too big, in terms of height. Overall, the price is a great deal for the combination, backpack, lunchbox, pencil case. Much less than what youd normally spend buying all 3 separately. Its also a far better quality backpack than what youd get for the same, or often more, in stores. Not cheaply made at all. My only complaint at all is that the pencil case is too small for any actual pencils that arent sharpened or havent been used down a lot. We couldnt fit much in there at all so she uses it for lip gloss. The lunchbox on the other hand, was again, surprisingly good quality for the cost. I was skeptical at first, as it came folded up and looked little and unimpressive. However, once opened up, I have found I can pack a lot in it. I am able to fit the average size water bottle in both outside pockets, a standard sandwich box, thermos, and soup bowl inside. It also has room for several snacks and a sandwich if youre going the route of a totally cold lunch. It also keeps food at a decently cold/ warm temp. Ice packs fit with no issue, zippers are all great. The handles are still in shape. When shes done with lunch she can fold it up and stick it in her backpack. The fact that its all matching is an added bonus. I love the product. I would highly recommend and will be excited to see if it stands up until the end of the school year.

> 3 dayWe received the bag yesterday and overall are very pleased. My daughter is going to middle school this year so wanted a grown up bag. The size is perfect, durable canvas, thick padded straps, roomy compartments. The lunch box is big enough to hold all she needs and seems well insulated. Our only complaint and ding on the star rating is the pencil pouch... big enough to hold her things but the zipper is GROSSLY obnoxious. I get that sounds picky but guys this thing is HUGE!! It’s a very thick heavy plastic zipper that is as wide as the whole top, the zipper pull is a giant plastic ring about 3” big! It’s the most obnoxious thing I’ve seen. But since it’s just the zipper pouch I won’t knock off more than 1 Star. But we aware if you’re using for high school, college etc...

> 3 dayI got this for my teen . She has already lost one zipper...meaning it broke and one area cant be closed... School started on the first of Aug...its now the 27 of aug.....so I am afraid of the condition of the backpack by the time the semester is finished much less what it will look like by the time school is out... as she is a girly girl this is disappointing.. so would I recommend this item....no ...unless your looking for something that will not last ... size wise it does carry most of her books .

> 3 dayGreat backpack and quality, but definitely too small for a teen school backpack. would be great for school for 2nd grader or younger. a teen could use for a day trip to an amusement park, etc. but not for school, too small for that.

07-06-2025I bought this bag back for college. I would carry a laptop, books, note books, and a binder. At times I’d carry all items and sometimes a few items. It lasted for 5 years then it got a small hole at the bottom. The “lunch bag” I never used it. It was too flimsy I did not trust it.
