I dont quite believe in burning in for cables. I have been using Chord Carnival Silverscreen copper cables and Chord Odyssey 2 silver cables for a couple of years. The BJ ten whites opened up the highs - kind of difficult to describe the experience in words but these cables did make a positive difference and improve sound quality overall. Made me believe much more than ever before that cables actually do make a difference in audio quality. Would highly recommend BJ speaker cables. I have these going from a Marantz PM8005 to Dynaudio Emit M30s with a Oppo UDP as the source. Cant wait to try these on my second system - a Hegel H80, KEF R300 and Marantz CDP.

Some people believe in cables and some dont. I think they are both right. Let me introduce you to the concept of psychoacoustics. With the identical audio equipment in the identical listening environment with the same song, the same measuring instrument will always measure exactly the same doesnt matter what time of day or which day you measure it. If you sit on the exact same spot and listen to the same song, the quality of the sound will be different depending on whether you are tired, how much alcohol you have consumed, your mood, etc. That is because we cant measure the sound, we can only interpret sound which is affected by the state of our mind. If you put in some exotic cables and hear a better result, its MOSTLY because your mind WANTS to hear better result and you DO hear better results. Therefore better cables sound better because those who believe that they do will interpret them as better. Those who dont believe it will not want to hear a difference. We will never be able to prove it becuase we can only use intruments to measure objectively and instruments dont have a mind.

I have heard many speaker cables over the years including mega buck stuff. These are the real deal for the money ! Can’t believe how good they sound and very easy to use ! Very happy using them with my AS2200 Yamaha/Oppo disc player and Klipsch bookshelves ….great job Blue Jeans cable !!!

If you want a high-quality speaker cable without any of the mumbo-jumbo of some cable manufacturers, this is your cable. It uses quality Belden cable with great locking banana plugs that are welded on. Those banana plugs and the way they are connected to the cable set this cable apart from the other cables at this price point. (I once worked for a company owned by Belden and I can say that they know cable!)

The welds are great and I really like the connectors with the locking banana plugs. Great for most speaker setups with angled connectors, but I also recommend their custom cables with one end banana plug and the other end spades for tighter areas.

Ive bought 3 of these cables for a 3.1 setup, using outlaw 5000 amp going to Martin Logan 35xt L/R speakers and Martin Logan C2 center. The cost of acceptable quality cables would have only been about half the cost of these, but blue jeans welded cables seem well worth that bump in price to me. Competitors at this level of quality cost much more, and I like to feel like Im getting a good value.

I dont have to turn my amp up as high with these cables. Im startled by the difference. It is due to these being 10 gauge and thus having lower resistance, the most important factor in speaker cables. Is the sound better? Maybe, its definitely not worse. Factoring in the placebo possibility lets say tie goes to the runner. These were cheaper than the cables they replaced. The other ones looked better but, werent. Im very satisfied.

Wow. You just can’t beat these adjustable banana plugs. They lock in place and unlock so easily, you won’t have to fiddle around a bunch to get a good connection. There is NO better value for top high end audio quality cables.
