Really good item. Works as expected. However, I was expecting a case with it but as indicated in the pics, there is none. Only the plain colors come with a case apparently.

It is my favourite umbrella till now in my whole life. All my friends thinks highly of it . Impotantly, it can be folded up automatically, no more worry my body get caught wet in rainny day. . The other better feature i is windproof. ,

I like this umbrella - it is a golf-sized umbrella, but retracts to a size that is small enough to carry in a briefcase / backpack. I am hard on umbrellas, though and I worry that Totes got this combination by using as thin a gauge of metal for the spokes and handle as possible - it feels flimsier than other Totes umbrellas Ive purchased. (I think Totes is one of those companies that will warrant their products with a lifetime guarantee - Ive had the opportunity to avail myself of this with Totes, but I only feel comfortable with one replacement per one item purchased; you cant expect too much from an umbrella, after all.

I have a similar model that works great and has held up nicely for a few years, so I wanted to get another to keep in the car. The fabric on this one is very different; stiff and kind of heavy. I noticed when I first opened it that the frame sections nearest the outside of the circle do not expand far enough, making sort of a sail effect in the outer sections of fabric. The first time I used it in the rain, a puff of wind caught the sail, turned the umbrella inside out and broke a section of the frame. It was hardly a hurricane and Ive put my older one through much worse. The packaging has this labeled as Totes Blue line. I dont know if that means its of lesser quality on purpose, but it certainly was a dud for me. Im outside Amazons 30-day return policy so I will try to get it replaced through Totes warranty.
