Its metal. Its well made. What else can be said? It really looks great on the back of my F80 M3 Competition. (It looks silly on the back of non-M car... but opinions vary) :)

I am pleased with how it looks and price. The black screw caps are plastic and the hinge connecting it to the frame is also plastic that broke on all 4 day one during installation. Frame itself is metal. Despite the caps being plastic, am not concerned about them popping off. They seem to snap in securely. I would buy this again, would be nice if they included multiple caps just in case.

Product took forever to get and when it came in it was blank(no M logo)and no hardware.DO not purchase

This is an official BMW brand plate frame. Lowest price for OEM I have found.

I love the look of the black frame. It really shows off the M logo. Gives a real sporty look to the rear of the car
