Board Game Playmat [3x5/Thick Super Cushioned/Stitched Edge/Water Resistant] with Carrying Case - for Tabletop Board Games, Card Games, RPG Games (Medium, Blue)

I bought both sizes of this during the kickstarter and have since bought a few more as gifts. They work great. The stitched edges are a nice touch. Previously, we had used a giant piece of neoprene cut down to our table size and while it worked well, this is a wonderful upgrade (super thick and sewn edges). The logo is pretty small in the corner and doesnt really bother anyone. We have 2 dining tables in our house, the small fits one and the large fits the other perfectly. If you have a table that isnt quite the right size, its better to go smaller. If it hangs over the edge, you will catch your hand on the edge and the game will get moved around. If a little wood is showing around the edge, no big deal. The bags are nice. Easy to put them back in provided you roll them with the blue facing out. These are a great buy compared to others on the market. The plain color wont add/subtract anything from any game you are playing. We get it wet from drinks and ice cream and its been no issue. I have been looking for a nice quality, stitched edge gaming mat for a while, to put on our table when we play our board games. Initially I passed this up because of the blue color.... in the product photos it appeared a bit too blue for my taste, plus I was not sure if I would like the thicker foam vs a slimmer mat. Decided to give it a try anyway and purchased it along with another that was thinner, to compare. Definitely prefer the thicker mat, and I was very excited to find that the color is more subdued in real life. Just a matter of preference, but I like that it fades into the background as we play, rather than being front-and-center like one with a pattern or picture. Another great quality is the stitched edging, which will prevent fraying over time, especially as we take it in and out of the case (we live in a small apartment and cannot leave it permanently set up, so it goes back in the carrying case afterwards... another great feature!) Finally, the rubber backing (very similar to mouse-pad bottoms) and weight mean that it really does not slide around as we use it. It stays firmly in place while playing, and is easily rolled up and stored away when not in use. It did arrive smelling slightly rubbery/chemically but we left it out overnight spread on the table and by morning it was gone. HIGHLY recommend giving this mat a try!

Lays flat. Rolls up easily for storage in the supplied nylon bag. The mat is the exact size of my dining room table so it can double as the underpad for my wifes fancy tablecloth. I never regret spending more to purchase a high quality product. Im very happy with the purchase. THANK-YOU!!!

We roll dice a lot. This mat eliminates noise and is is easy to store and travel with. Quality product

Bought it for mom who loves games a d she loved it. Fits our table pretty well and is a good dense mat to play on.

This mat makes for a high quality playing surface for the hobbyist tabletop gamer. It comes with a bag that stores it away in a safe, compact package. It rolls out nice and flat when put to use (doesnt seem to maintain memory). Great value, highly recommended!

Doesn’t fire the 3x5 table I have very well. Also I don’t like the company logo in the corner. It’s distracting when games are on the table. Other manufactures don’t put there logo on the face of the mat so I don’t know why this one does. I’ll be sending it back for a refund and getting a mat elsewhere.

I built my game table around the dimensions of this playmat and its an extremely nice addition to the build! The 5mm thickness makes picking up cards and components a breeze. The carrying case isnt something that I will get much use out of since my mat has a semi-permanent home but its certainly appreciated that they include it and does its job well.

This is a thick sturdy mat. Best Ive owned.
