At first, I was a little disappointed because I had trouble finding a bin to put this in. I eventually went out and bought a file organizer, but it was too long. I wedged a gatorade bottle in between to stop the bars from moving within the bin - Problem solved! Nice clean brushes now. Highly recommend for those hard to clean oil paints especially.

I have started painting again and Im glad I remembered Bob Ross mentioning this nifty device for cleaning my brushes. Works very well, easy to clean with soap and water. Most of all, I enjoy beating the devil out of my brushes on this. One tip I would give is to build a wooden frame around it so the paint is contained easier.

This little rack and a small kitchen trash can will keep your marriage intact! You can now clean your brushes by beating the devil out of em and yet not throw paint all over your room!

Its wild how much quicker and easier it is to paint with the Bob Ross method (especially if you only have 1 of each brush like I do to start) with the brush beater rack in a small trash can. I did two paintings where I tried just shaking it off in a trash can or beating it on the side of my table, which was a total mess and didnt get all of the paint & thinner out of the brush. Putting this rack in a 7 gallon rectangular trash can (like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013CQ5EO) made a world of difference. Keeps the mess contained and allows you to beat the devil out of it much quicker with much less left in the bristles. This and the thinner bucket/screen cut my brush cleaning time in at least half during paintings. Worth every penny if youre doing Bob Ross paintings with any regularity!

Dont paint like BobRoss without one!! I tried... and this just makes everything so much easier.

This is an excellent beater for cleaning the oil painting off the brushes.
