> 3 dayIts wild how much quicker and easier it is to paint with the Bob Ross method (especially if you only have 1 of each brush like I do to start) with the brush beater rack in a small trash can. I did two paintings where I tried just shaking it off in a trash can or beating it on the side of my table, which was a total mess and didnt get all of the paint & thinner out of the brush. Putting this rack in a 7 gallon rectangular trash can (like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013CQ5EO) made a world of difference. Keeps the mess contained and allows you to beat the devil out of it much quicker with much less left in the bristles. This and the thinner bucket/screen cut my brush cleaning time in at least half during paintings. Worth every penny if youre doing Bob Ross paintings with any regularity!
