I originally bought this packing tape because I tend to package my online orders at night when my baby is sleeping. they do it’s job! they are quiet BUT the tape is pretty thin so I double up on tape and sometimes it rips because of how fragile it is. I wasted a good amount just because it would rip into 2-3 pieces of tape. hopefully one day packing tape can be silent and sturdy.

Good quality and no noise

I ship a lot of packages and can never seem to find tape that sticks well. Not only was this silent, so if I am working late there is no sound to bother the hubs, it was nice and sticky. In fact it sticks better than DUCT tape clear easy start tape.

I send out a lot of packages and use this type of tape frequently. It’s typically very loud and I have to shut the door or not use it when anyone is working or in virtual school. When I used this, it was quite exciting that it didn’t make any noise. Sometimes the little things can bring so much joy ;)

This tape is good, no noise, but its way too slippery. If you regularly ship heavy boxes, 10 or more pounds, then I would not recommend this tape because fully packed boxes may slip out of your hands and/or shipping carrier hands.

Overall this tape delivers on its promise of being silent. Additionally I find that it is relatively less smelly than other tapes that can leave your room smelling like chemicals. My only gripe is probably not even fair - the tape does not stick well to itself. Obviously this is how they are able to reduce the noise, but when you are packaging up a box and you want to layer the tape on top of itself, it will easily unpeel. However I will say that it sticks to cardboard very well.
