Bonanza: The Official Tenth Season

I love the tenth season. Not quite as much action as season 9. Still a great season.

Bought this for my mom . It never played on any of her DVD players. All the disc have these dark rings around them so it was a complete waste of money

Up till season 9, I have been purchasing all seasons of Bonanza with Paramount as the source of the discs. All of these discs have been in sparkling quality, especially considering made for TV films from the early 60s and up. I have had no complaints at all. But then when I went to order season 9 I found the packaging similar but with some white and yellow labels on the front of each cover. Not knowing there was a difference I ordered the discs put out by Via Vision and quickly found some visual quality differences. Some scenes looked ok but the outdoor scenes especially in bright sunlight are badly washed out....looks like your tv might if brightness control was jacked way too high.

Im on the ninth season. Havent yet gotten to the 10th season. But the discs look good - nothing broken. Ill write a follow-up when I get to the tenth season.
