First timer on home fiberglass repair. Watched a lot of videos and read a lot of reviews. This product worked like a dream. Used it with the bondo resin and hardener. Fixed a massive fiberglass tub repair hole. Easy to use.

Product measures 25.5 X 47 inches rectangular. Some have said that this is a heavy cloth but in the world of fiberglass cloth this is really a light to medium weight. It came folded so close and tight that at the fold corners the weave has separated. See attached pic. So if if doing a layup of several layers this is really not much of a problem. If however you are doing a finish cover to be exposed to the view of the world like my present use it is detracting since it has these weave separations in about a 5 X 5 inch pattern over the entire sheet. If this is your case you might try to find the cloth which comes off a roll.

My fiberglass canoe no longer has a hole in it thanks to this stuff. I used this along with other 3M marine filler and now I am good to go (canoeing)!

Fiberglass shouldnt be sold folded up. The fibers cracks at the folds and create weak points in the cloth. This should be sold in rolls.

Used this fiberglass cloth and resin to repair some interior panels on my ‘95 Jeep Cherokee. Brittle plastic had allow the plastic to crack and break when removing the rear hatch panel, despite my best efforts to avoid it using the proper panel tools. So first glued the prices back into place, the layered up some strips and formed over the spot where the retainers go. After drying overnight, used a Dremel tool to recut the necessary notch in the fiberglass repair and pushed the retainer clips into place. Worked great, and no issues reinstalling the panel.

I havent used it yet. Im an artist. I am searching for the lightest weight fibreglass cloth available. If you have one even lighter I would be interested. But, I believe this will be suitable. Thanks for the inquiry. L Smith [email protected]
