> 24 hourThe serial number in the photo in Amazon and what you get is different, the fan is higher, making it impossible to jam into the Xbox, it also doesnt have the same shape and isnt cut in one of the corners, Amazon refunded me fortunately. Dont buy this!! Not sure who are the other reviewers giving it 5/5,thats why I bought it in the first place, so be warned! I ended up buying 2 for the way cheaper somewhere else and those had same serial, looked exactly the same, and fit in perfectly.

> 24 hourMicrosoft’s service fee on an out-of-warranty Series X is $299. This cost about one-tenth that and took about 5 minutes; the hardest part was removing the tape that covers up the screws on the back. No instructions, but I found a YouTube video that walked me through the whole process.

> 24 hourOne of my fan blades got cracked due to my XBSX jumping off the shelf somehow. Surprisingly the console still works only broke a blade so it started making this ticking noise when the fan would run it was very annoying. After taking the fan out twice and never noticing the crack I took it to U Break I Fix… they charged me $30 for nothing and gave it right back they didn’t even notice the crack either which confirmed they didn’t do much. Finally when I got it back home played for a few hours and left it on to see would the noise start, sure enough it did again. So I said forget it I’m just gonna buy a replacement fan. Purchased this one and upon replacing it I finally saw the crack. Anyway fan works great Xbox is finally quiet again so if anyone else is experiencing a ticking noise with their fan look for cracks and this is a great replacement!

> 24 hourThe fan is functioning fine and went in the console no problem.. the t8 and t10 screwdrivers they send with it are way off, save some money and get a fan that doesn’t come with faulty tools

> 24 hourMicrosoft wanted 299 to repair a bad fan. This was an easy install. Works great. As quiet as the original. Have a good 50 hours of play since repair and no issues.

> 24 hourI bought this because the fan on my xbox series x quit working. Got this in yesterday, installed it, and havent had any issues since then. Easy installation and highly recommended for anyone looking to replace the fan on their Xbox series x.

> 24 hourThe fan was a perfect fit and quite when running. The small tool worked well to get the Xbox cover off, but the middle screw of the fan was very tight and the tool was too small to loosen it. I ended up trying my own tools and the screw was so tight it ended up stripping. I couldnt even get a good enough grip with pliers to loosen after it was stripped. I ended up prying the screw off. All of the other screws came out fine except for that middle one. Im glad the fan doesnt rattle since I reconnected it without that big middle screw. Happy I saved $300 from not going to Microsoft support.

> 24 hourWas very skeptical about opening our series X but it was also very obvious that the overheating warning I was getting was caused by the fan dying and not some internal software or hardware issue. Highly recommend this part, could only find it one other place and it was twice the cost. Easy to Install, and it is the EXACT same as the part that comes with the xbox. Overall, my xbox was out of warranty so I didnt care about opening it up (reminder, once you open it your warranty is automatically void so just be careful if you do that). Once I got the specialty screws off, it was a VERY easy replacement and it immediately worked. So far have over 10+ hours of playing over several days and the fan is so quiet sometimes you cant even hear it.
