> 24 hourThis Bookcase is Awesome! The box was too heavy when I received it so I had to open the box in the foyer of my Senior apartment building. The shelves and all the parts and hardware easily fit on my walker so I could get them to my apartment. Hooray! It was no problem reading the excellent instructions and putting this wonderful bookcase together, even for an old lady almost 75 years old. All the hardware was included and the bookcase looks great. I would highly recommend this bookcase. But, beware, the box is heavy if you have to move it a long distance. Hope the driver didn’t hurt himself carrying it up the steps into my building. Thanks so much!

> 24 hourEasy to assemble, my boyfriend and I did it within 10 minutes. There are little screw-in nubs on the bottom so you can adjust the length of the legs in case it’s wobbly when you stand it up after assembly. We did not use the mounting kit (we don’t have kids running around or anything) and carpet flooring, it is very stable on it’s own. The shelves are pretty heavy duty I can tell they’ll definitely hold some weight.

> 24 hourThis style of shelving is called an etagere. I picked this particular one more out of exhaustion from browsing thousands of other shelves than anything else, but it worked out. The wood/MDF planks this unit has are a step up from the crappy particle board shelves Ive usually bought. These planks have a slightly textured printed/pressed veneer with a satin finish. Its almost like a hard plastic shell that covers the entire surface so there are no ugly edges. Ive tried gouging them with my fingernails and theyre absolutely fine, I havent managed to damage them yet with any of the stuff I put on them either. The coating makes them water-resistant too so they arent going to sponge up and deform like cheaper shelves if you accidentally leave a cold wet drink on them. The black metal frame is sturdy enough, its built with bars tack-welded together, then the weld spots are ground flush and the whole thing is painted/anodized black. You can see the grind marks in some places, like they forgot (or didnt bother) to sand them smooth at the factory. On mine they actually forgot to grind down the welds on one half of the frame, so I cant install the top crossbar properly unless I get a grinder or some extra tools. This sucks, but its easier to just fix it than return the whole thing. (The seller issued a partial refunded so I can buy the tools to fix this myself.) If youve spent any time browsing for anything on Amazon, youll notice there are tons of duplicate listings with tons of slightly different and very incorrect information. Measurements are notoriously unreliable, so Ill tell you how much space youre actually working with. Surprise! Almost all the shelves are adjustable! And you dont even have to take it all apart to re-arrange them, each plank can be unbolted individually. You get roughly 6 inches of usable height per bar segment: 1 section tall = About 5.75 inches 2 sections tall = A bit under 12 inches 3 sections tall = A bit over 18 inches The usable width of each shelf is about 29.75 inches (because the frame eats a little of the width). The usable depth is 10 inches. This thing is great for displaying your collection, even boxed figures. Set the shelves to 12 inches apart and you can even fit big bulky Play Arts Kai boxes, with a finger to spare. Thats also enough height to display Transformers and other oversized figures or statues. You can also display lots of 6-inch figures by using risers to fill in any vertical dead space. If you have a funky floor, the feet on this thing can be unscrewed as needed to keep it level. I put it against the wall on carpet, so I made the front two feet longer to keep it from teetering forward. You can also use the wall-fasteners included. Furniture is savagely overpriced, but for 100 bucks this utilitarian shelving is better than the saggy boards you get from Ikea, so I recommend it. (Price for this thing fluctuates, so check back often.)

> 24 hourThis shelf is impressively sturdy and heavy. With the supports it sits solidly. I expected it to be slightly better than walmarts composite shelves but its way better.

> 24 hourThese are great shelves! I searched for days for the right shelves for my space and none were what I needed. These were the right size (side by side) and were half the price of other options. Instructions were good and assembly was easy. It comes with L brackets to mount the shelves to the wall for support and I would highly recommend doing it especially on carpet. The instructions say to screw them into the top shelf but they fit perfectly when attached to the side bolts (see image). Dont damage your shelf by screwing directly into it! I added a wall spacer to account for the floor molding. I would absolutely recommend these!
