Ive been looking for a replacement for the bags I normally get from the pet supply company. The other ones Ive ordered from Amazon have been too small to fit a cat scoop or very thin and prone to ripping. These are perfect. Large enough and sturdy enough not to worry about a tear.

These bags are strong and keeps the litter smell in.

3 cat family including 2 kittens with very smelly litterbox. Cleaning it 2 x daily and the smell was overpowering the house. Got these because our area has a new plastic grocery bag ban, and WOW! Does it remove the odor? YES! Once in the trash, the smell is gone. UPDATE 7/2022: Ive been using these regularly and just opened a new box and the first one ripped in my hand. They are more slippery (easier to tie) and I think they are thinner too (compared two boxes of bags but not with a measuring tool). Would be sad if they dont work anymore! Time will tell.

These bags work great for keeping out the smell from the cat litter. I’m so happy to have found them.

This product delivers as promised! I was shocked because I thought for sure there was no way it would work. Ive been using the Litter Genie for years. I hate it because plastic absorbs odors, the inserts are too expensive, and the biodegradable bags, etc. are just crap. On my never ending quest to find a better and cheaper Litter Genie insert, I stumbled upon these bags. OMG they are a game changer for me. I have 2 cats and can scoop for about 2 days before I throw these bags away. My cats are beasts. I could never use an automatic litter pan. Anyway, I have not noticed smell. In fact, I have less smell than I had with the Litter Genie. I put them inside a small step operated trash can that is lined with a regular trash bag just in case litter falls out because I only fold over the bag and lay it in the can until Im done with it. No smell! I will use these bags from now on. They are like a small trash bag with a shiny kind of surface. But, before you think you should just get a waste basket trash bag, its been my experience that a trash bag is too thin and flimsy for the job - not to mention odors escape. I was so pleased with these that the Litter Genie is in the trash and these are on subscribe and save!

These bags truly keep the smell of litter in. No comparison whatsoever with anything else; and I tried a lot of different bags. The stench would start oozing from the trash the next morning. With these... no stench, nada, none whatsoever! The first time I used one, I suspiciously and hesitantly sniffed air around the full bag at an arm’s distance... then closer - nothing! Our trash bins used to reek by the trash pick-up day, not anymore! We love our cat dearly, but that was a bit of a pungent problem. ;) I thought the bags were on a pricy side at first. Now I think they are absolutely worth every penny. Will buy more!

These bags are literally the cats meow. I can clean my cats litter boxes and dump the yucky stuff in one of these, simply tie it up and put in a trash can until Im able to take the garbage out, without worrying about nasty smells. They truly are remarkable. WIsh I had found these years ago.

I ordered the medium size and was a little worried about these when I first received them because the opening wasn’t as large as I expected. It would be difficult and messy to try to scoop litter into these by just holding the bag open. I tried to find a container these would fit into and be held securely open, but was having difficulty until I found the perfect solution...a mini compost container! The bag is the perfect size and there is a removable rim to hold the bag securely in place and a lid. The large litter scoop I have also fits perfectly into the container and there is a handle which allows you to hold the container over the litter box to eliminate any mess from scattered litter. These bags work as well as advertised and I will definitely buy them again! I have found them to be very durable and the smell is well contained by the bags. These bags along with the containers I found are the perfect solution for cleaning the litter boxes! I normally use old grocery bags for my cats litter. This always caused a smell in my garbage so I looked for something better. These bags are the best. Big enough for large scoops and small enough so you dont feel wasteful. Highly recommend.
