So to begin, these do not lower humidity. Rather they keep humidity constant over long periods of storage such as curing. They can add some humidity if its low so they work well for that.

I talked to the company and am testing the packets. First test was putting the packet in a Mason Jar with only the packet and a hygrometer. R.H. went up to the desired 62% R.H. Will test with Jar contents next keeping in mind that the packets are rated for a specific amount of content. For example, 1 ounce of material that you are trying to keep R.H. stabilized at 62 R.H. Ill update the review but at this point, Ill increase my overall rating to 4 stars from 2.

Provided your cannabis isnt excessively dry or not yet properly dry, these pouches will maintain humidity at 62%. They can be recharged by placing in a jar with a few water pillows or a damp folded napkin. My only disappointment is that as others have stated, it does absorb quite a bit of the normally pleasant aroma. I did a controlled experiment to confirm this happens. Because of that, I prefer not to use them.

I give this product a 4 out of 5 only because I havent seen a real change in humidity yet. I will check back in here after about a month or so for an update. The packets are the perfect size for the jars I have. It is clearly labeled for people to read and understand DO NOT EAT. No weird smells or anything, so for now we wait and see if it keeps my humidity at 62%.

I bought the size 8. These work great. I wish I had used these before. Now that I know, I will have these on hand at all times.

Use them in my dryer to expedite the drying process

I loovveee these! They keep my stuff super sticky and for months it’s amazing!

I added 3 of these guys to a 2 ounce container of uncured dry bud. The bud was a little overly dried. After putting the 3 Boveda packs into the jar, the bud began to absorb moisture and began curing. It is now several months later and the bud is still in prime shape. Very nicely cured and plenty of stickiness. I couldnt be happier. All of the original terpenes and aroma remains very nicely in the bud I have used these with.

These work pretty good for getting moisture content back up. However, my digital guages that I put in each jar are consistently ready 50%-52%. I dont know if they need to be calibrated (Im not sure that they can be) or if these cant get up to 62%. There should be ple.ty in each mason jar to cover what is in the jar. As far as freshness goes, I dont use whats in the jars, but havent had any complaints. Ill still keep buy these, however.

I just got these today plus 16oz jars and mini hygrometers. To soon for humidity changes. Ive read it takes about 3 days. I will say though these packets fit nicely in 16oz jars. I wouldnt go smaller. I gave a 4 star review because of videos Ive seen. I will update this later in the week.
