> 3 dayThis is an excellent laptop stand. No matter what the weight of my laptop is, it doesn’t go down. It is very sturdy & classy.

Greater than one weekThis “laptop” holder is designed for the very thin airbooks and slim laptops ONLY. If you own any device that has bulk to it, this holder will not keep it in place as the two front protruding aluminum prongs are not rubberized and will cause your expensive laptop to slide off. There is also only one hole for ventilation, and as anyone who has ever owned a laptop knows many are designed with vents in various places on the underside. You may experience overheating if your vents are covered by the aluminum back. Rasing and lowering of the holder is a very stiff experience. I understand you dont want your laptop collapsing when in use, so if you need to change the height or angle, the laptop must be removed and replaced back on once an adjustment is made. Not very elegant.

> 3 dayFor years I have used my MacBook Air now while sitting hunched over on the couch. My wife convinced me not to do that anymore. So for my new MacBook Air 2020 I got this stand. I do not type on the laptop while it is on the stand, but use it to elevate it up and use an external mouse and keyboard.

Greater than one weekIts a little hard to move up and down but honestly once I got it where I wanted it I havent moved it again. I also love the fact its weighted and not flimsy.

> 3 dayDuring the COVID-19 pandemic and the states directives to work at home, my wife was working at the dining room table while I took the office on our house because of the height of the office desk. She was using two cookbooks under her laptop and two blankets under her chair to get to a comfortable posture and level for her laptop and keyboard. It was uncomfortable to see her having to work with this set-up. I saw this item on Amazon and gave it a shot. My wife loves it as it is flexible enough so that she can video-conference well, stable and stays in place, has a opening to allow heat to escape from and allows her to place her keyboard where it is comfortable for her. Well with the price!
