I bought this stand for 6 months ago as I began medical school. Initially, it was great: a little bulky to carry but very sturdy. However after daily use for a few months (2-3) I noticed the hinges started getting a little loose. Now it’s so wobbly that i worry that my laptop will fall off. Very disappointed that the metal designed wore away so quickly. Wish I could tighten screws or get a new one.

Site description said but didnt really address that this laptop and tablet holder holds and adjusts for both my 10 ipad Air and my 14 laptop. The ipad needs to be more upright than the laptop, and it does that nicely. Four stars because its challenging on my senior hands and wrists to adjust, but that doesnt stop me from really valuing and using it. Definitely recommend this BoYata Laptop and Tablet Stand.

There are three reasons I love this.

I love it and love that it matches the pinkish gold of my 13 MacBook Air. Fit is great, only thing is that the tabs at the front pop out a bit since the computer is thin. However, this doesnt bother me at all when I type so I dont really mind it. It is easy to adjust, you just need to push with both hands. You do need to use some force to adjust but thats good as you wouldnt want it moving around while your hands are resting on the keyboard.

This laptop stand is boss! I ordered the champagne color and my silver MacBook Pro looks gorgeous sitting atop. Esthetics aside, the claims that this will handle up to a 17 laptop are accurate. I have a 13 so my laptop is fully supported by the width of the base, BUT I would not hesitate to set a larger size laptop on this product. The strength of the adjustable hinges is stout! Set it and forget it - this thing is NOT collapsing! A valued buy for under $40! Highly recommended!

I use a small laptop (14 inch) and two monitors connected to it along with an external keyboard and mouse. This allowed me to raise the screen to a higher in the middle of my other monitors and push it out of the way of my keyboard and mouse. Does the exact job I needed it to do!
