The BROCOVAN socket arm is very well made. Excellent machining and finish give the appearance one would expect of a more expensive piece. The inside surfaces of the grasping parts have raised ridges to give solid purchase on the mounting ball. Once snugged down with the tightening knob, the assembly feels very solid, almost as if the arm and mounting ball are one piece.

This aluminum double socket arm is very stout and looks like it should last a lifetime. It fits my 1 inch RAM balls perfectly. I like the grooves in the sockets. Seems to improve the grip on the balls (versus smooth sockets) so I dont have to tighten down as much to keep my GoPro from moving.

The hold this clamp provides is rock solid, the metal is strong, and all the edges are well machined and finished for comfort. The 5-star touch is the spring-loaded bolt that keeps one tension on one ball when the other is removed from the fixture. My only complaint is the ribbed texture on the contact surface: it left marks on my balls.

I got this to use on my boat for my Garmin bottom machine. It is a little shorter than I expected but that is my fault. I saw the 2.48 and thought that was ball to ball and not overall length.

This is a nicely machined double-ball extension arm for RAM Mounts. Far nicer than the original plastic ones in machined aluminum powder coated black. Machining looks nice - no sharp edges or burrs - and the powder coating is even.

I needed a short extension for my GoPro mount and this fit the bill perfectly. For mounts using 1 ball connectors, this is a great extension. The knurling on the inside of this mount is unusual but still provides effective grip. It did not cause any damage to the ball connectors I was using.

This clamp appears to be of good material and latched on to my Ram and Tackform balls perfectly. I like that the cups are grooved which helps maintain a no movement grip on the balls. I will be looking for other length and types. The knob to open was a bit stiff and very close to the arm itself so I had a hard time turning it but this may be the size of my hands at play.

I really like this socket arm by BRCOVAN. Its heavy duty, metal design gives me confidence that when Im using this in combination with an iPad grip, its not going to fall! Im very impressed with the hold strength this little thing gives too! Couple this with a 1ball on a mini clamp, and the iPad holder on the other side, and I was good to go! Im very pleased with this item.

It’s a perfect fit for my many bicycles it’s simple to put on and take off and it doesn’t tarnish the pain to my bike after a long bike rides! I was afraid it would rub again the metal frame but it’s smooth!!
