I was looking for a new case to hold my New Nintendo 2DS XL (thats a mouthful) and did some extensive research. There was nothing wrong with my previous case physically, but it was a little smaller and only held the system and a handful of games and nothing else.. Ive been actively growing my DS/3DS collection and wanted to be able to take more things with me if Im traveling or just on the road in general. This case fits exactly what I wanted. First its a hard shell and has a ballistic nylon feel to it. In addition, it hold up to 24 games. I will never play 24 games on the road or on a trip, but its nice to have the option. Also, it has a zipper compartment on top and is able to hold a portable charger and a 3DS USB charging cable, as well as earbuds. As a bonus, it came with a stylus that is a lot more usable than the short, stubby stylus that came with the 2DS XL. I cant recommend this case enough. As a bonus, the accent color (blue) matches my 2DS XL. If you need a great case, buy it!

Just what I was looking for, it is the right fit for the Nintendo 2DS XL, has extra storage for 24 game cards and enough to comfortably carry the charger and a pair of earplugs. It also comes with the pen as a plus :) material feels solid so I am not worried about falls.

I am surprised at how good this case is built. I have been looking for a while what case is good. I am an adult owner and I take preeetty good care of my stuff. While this, I think will protect my pikachu 2ds xl, I find the mesh pocket too abrasive. I am afraid it will scratch my unit... its not the soft stretchable type of mesh. I have a silicone protector so that didnt help making it too tight for me to put my 2ds in the mesh pocket. I decided to cut off the mesh part and happy with the result. I do not recommend for you to remove it if your kids are kinda rough with their stuff since the mesh pocket is there to help your unit from falling out when opening your case. So unless youre really careful and dont want your unit scratched. Do it. I decided to cut out the mesh pocket, but I wouldnt have to if only the mesh was made of softer material.

My daughter likes it. Excellent for protect the 2ds Nintendo platform.
