Breville Espresso Cleaning Tablets (8 pack), BEC250

These tablets are less expensive thank some brand name tabs but work just as well.

I bought these thinking they were the descaling cleaner that is required periodically. They’re not that. They come with NO instructions in or on the package whatsoever! How do you use them? Where do you put them? In the portafilter? There also no I structure in the Breville web site. I realized that these aren’t the OEM descaling chemical when I found the one that came with the machine. Rather than a tablet, it’s a packet of powder. Seems you can only buy those direct from Breville - I don’t see them here on Amazon even after searching specifically. As for these “cleaner” tablets - still no idea how they’re intended to be used.

Even though this is a Breville product it fits and works in my Solis espresso machine. Very pleased.

No clever review, espresso machine functions and coffee tastes like it was brand new. South Texas hard water can destroy a small appliance like this.

They flush the coffee machine. You do have to hover over the coffee machine thr vehicle time.
