I am impressed with this product. It was pretty much ready to use right out of the box, and I could immediately tell that it was a sturdy piece of equipment. Once I had it clamped onto the desk, it was simple to maneuver and operate. The arm is spring counter-weighted, moves very easily, and stays right where you want it. The lens is of good quality, and serves my purposes, but be sure the magnification will meet your needs. I like the dimmer and color change option, and these features add a lot to the value. I hesitated a bit before purchasing because of the price, but now that I have used it I am completely satisfied.

This lamp is a cut above others in terms of solid construction, smooth operation and general robustness. I use it at an electronics workbench and its serving me very well. The only thing I wish for is that it would remember the last brightness setting I picked. Right now I have to re-adjust the brightness each time I turn on the lamp. If the manufacturer is reading - please consider this for a future model.

I got this for a gift for my dad and he is very pleased with it. The lamp stays in place when he is working and makes working on details for his models and trains easier.

I bought this product for my mom who is a calligrapher, and she was holding a magnifying glass as she was doing her calligraphic art. It seemed like she could benefit from this product, and she has. She loves it. The product itself is a very professional grade product. It looks good. Its easy to assemble and use.

I use it on my workbench. I needed a light and I figured the magnifying glass would work well if I need to measure something to a high degree of accuracy.

Although I rarely leave reviews, I needed to write one for this light because it is that nice. Set up took 30 seconds, to easy (clamp it, set the lamp into the hole of the clamp). The light is white, as opposed to yellow bulbs that are usually considered white. This make reading so much easier and better than regular lights. The magnifying glass is clear, covers a large area, and magnifies well and large. Once you angle the round light/Magnifying glass part of the light the way you want it, the round part stays at the angle you put it as you move the arms (in any direction and height). This light is no joke, its solid and very well made.

I bought this to upgrade my swing-arm lamp to this so I could have control over color temperature and brightness. The Brightech LightView Pro does this in spades but at the expense of being too heavy for my folding tabletop. The clamp supplied had to be tightened to the point of creating a depression in the thin metal tabletop and simply wouldnt work, even with a custom fit. My wife has it now and loves it. The swing arm stays put at any height you choose but I did have to do a little initial tightening. The magnifier is VERY high in edge-to-edge quality with good magnification. Overall, a fine product.

Easy to install, easy to use, different light settings, and great magnifier. Perfect for my craft room. Looks good, works well.
