Great quality thread wires. Use along with a guidebook like the Machinerys Handbook to judge thread dimension and tolerance.

I lathe cut threads only a few times a year, so I really dont want to spend the money on an expensive Thread Mic. This Wire Set works well and verifies that my threads are pitch perfect!

I like the chart that comes with it. If you have to measure external threads you need these and a micrometer.

these things are awesome just like everything else Brown and Sharpe I use these every day at work and I have not had a single problem with anything coming out of tolerance because of my wires

Best wires Ive ever used. I bought them after borrowing another guys set. Since then, 3 more guys in the shop have bought sets of their own.

Pricey but work just fine for me, I use them a lot and no complaints.

I work in research and development so many products I manufacture are out of the ordinary. Pins come with chart for easy calculation of pitch diameter, a necessary tool when dimensions have to be correct.
