This hone did a nice job on a pair of Harley Twincam cylinders. New rings seated in nicely and had a good seal.

Using the correct size on the cylinder size has provided a good result. Forced an oversized one once and did not yield an easy result.

Used it to clean up cylinder bores 80cui evo harley

Used this hone on my 4.030” 351W and am very pleased with the results. About 30 seconds in each cylinder with a little motor oil Is all I needed. Worked great.

These things are awesome. makes short and nice work honing cylinders.

I was worried about the size as the 3.78 inch bore of the 5.3 is on the edge of the range listed for this product. It did a great job and I was very happy with the results. I used motor oil as lubricant and did about 10 in out passes. Make sure to go slow on rpm and fast on the in out to try to get the 45 degree cross hatch.

I still use this to restore my Onan p218 and p220 engines.

This honing brush is easy to use, is high quality and worked just as described. You do need to ensure you move at a quick and consistent pace to get a good cross hatch. I recommend this tool for anyone looking to refresh and engine.

Worked great on refreshing crosshatch pattern on a 5.3 GM with 225k miles. Very effective with light effort.
