Greater than one weekits lovely! its sturdy, the slots are a bit tight but not too tight- havent tried it with gel pens, but it fits all my pencils perfectly. its sturdy and solid, the binding is strong. will definetly get another when my pencil collection exceeds this one!

The slots are made for pencils though, so dont expect to fit a pen or marker in every slot, right next to each other. The quality is great, it is very sturdy and the zippers are strong. I havent had a single issue.
