The product I received was packaged really well, and the hide looks just like the picture! It is also big enough for a Syrian hamster, which is great. The only thing I want to mention is that the little cushion thing did not come with it, but I wasnt going to put anything made of fabric/cotton in my hamsters enclosure. I highly recommend, it is a great hide for the price!

It’s pretty cute, and plenty of space for even a Syrian hamster to hide in. Comes with a little cushion, and the top is removable by twisting it and pulling it off.

This Hideout is just perfect, I bought it for my dwarf but I wanted used in a future for a Syrian. I love it. Size is perfect, I love that you can open the top and add bedding or jus peek on them. I give a 10/10

bought it for my pet mice to cuddle huddle in. they really seem to like it (and love climbing on it); I think its really cute. glaze & removable top make it easy to clean. its a decent weight, so if youre planning on putting it in a small animal enclosure please be sure to either place it on the bottom & fill bedding around it, or (preferably) use it on a nice platform to keep from accidentally squishing anyone:)

this is perfect for serian or teddy bear hamsters, it is very spacey inside. it is a lot bigger than the other ceramic hideouts i saw on amazon. came packaged securely, i was worried about it breaking.

I was NOT expecting it to be as big as it was, but its perfect for mt hamster!!!

I found the hideout to be a great addition to my hamsters cage in terms and enrichment and aesthetics. However, I quickly found out when going to bed that it is certainly not quiet. When my hamster would climb it or even when she is using her wheel, I would hear the lid rattle. The first night, I had to eventually remove it from her cage, unfortunately. To solve this issue, I wrapped the bottom of the lid where it contacts the body with 3/4-inch masking tape and voila--no more rattle. Now, its the perfect hideout for my hamster, and she loves it. I hope this helps someone.

This adds such a cute touch to the cage! It also has the same vibe as my hamster’s cactus water bottle holder. Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of him in it because he hides underground when it’s light out, but I know he uses it because the bedding is well padded down inside the cactus hut. I can tell he enjoys it at night, but would just rather be in complete darkness during the day. Also super easy to clean compared to porous pottery ceramics!!!
