Buckle Toy - Boomer Square - Learning Activity Toddler Plane Travel Essential Toy - Develop Motor Skills and Problem Solving

The product came nicely packaged the toy it self is pretty small it looked larger in the picture. My baby had fun trying the buckles and the toy is super soft which she use for a pillow she really enjoys playing with it but gets frustrated when she cant unbuckle the straps. I would recommend the product.

I gave this to my 2 year old granddaughter to practice with buckles. She thinks it’s the Backpack from Dora the Explorer and takes it with her everywhere. There is a zippered pouch on top and she puts her “treasures” inside.

Great toy for toddler quiet play on the plane or Church. Arrived faster than I thought it would. I wish the cushion filling was removable so the toy is not so puffy. Not an issue overall but it would be better for when traveling.

This fabulous learning toy will keep your toddler entertained for a long time. Today my almost three-year old played with it for a good thirty minutes; its great for life skills such as opening and closing zippers; all kinds of fasteners. But moreover, you can talk about colors, over, under, left, right etc. I will take it on our next plane ride: small and soft and lots of entertainment value. I received this product in exchange for my honest review; what a winner!

Theres not a lot to this toy but it is entertaining for my baby and as she grows older shell be able to enjoy it more learning to open and close the various snaps.

Best gift for a 2yr who is very interested in any kinda buckle. My daughter will spend 30 minutes sitting quietly snapping and undoing this toy. Clapping the whole time. Great for waiting at doctors offices and car rides!

If I could give this product 10 stars, I would! My daughter just loves it. She is 2 1/2 and has a fascination lately with the buckle in her high chair and the buckle in her stroller... Her face completely lit up when I gave it to her and she has been playing with it every day (usually for a significant amount of time) since then. I love the fact that not ALL the buckles are the same, so there is a variety of motor skills involved. She can currently buckle all of the buckles together in record time, LOL, and then is quickly looking at me to cheer for her and wants me to undo them so she can put them back together. We are working on her undoing the buckles, but like all motor skills, this will just take time. The different colored straps are fun, too, because as I undo the buckles for her, we go over each of the colors. She has learned Blue & Orange and now we are just working on the others. The toy is high quality and well made and would easily survive the washer should it become dirty. We are going out of town for a lengthy car ride soon and this toy will make the cut of which toys accompany us on our trip. The ONLY critiques I would give to the makers of this toy are: - Swap out the light green strap for a purple strap so that you would have the full ROY G BIV colors of the rainbow. It gets a little confusing for a 2-3 year old when I ask what color is this? and the answer to two different looking colors is Green - Relocate the zipper on the side to underneath the mouth of the smiley face. My daughters initial reaction (and I assume many toddlers) when I showed her the zipper, was to put the toy on her hand like a puppet... Then she looked confused as to why his face was sideways. Regardless of those two minor criticisms, this is a great toy that my daughter absolutely loves! I received this toy for a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. (Although, I would have gladly paid full price now that I now how much she loves it!)

I love this buckle toy. Its not as big as I expected with it measuring in at 5.5 x 5.5 but that didnt bother me. As the picture shows, there are 6 sets of buckles, 4 of them having a side squeeze buckle, 1 with a round center release and 1 with a rectangular center release. The amazon description states 6 child-friendly buckles in a variety of clasp styles which is deceiving since 4 of the buckles that are the same style. The one with the rectangular center release was difficult for me to unbuckle and I had to use my fingernail to get it to release but my son had no problem getting it once I showed him how. The back of Boomer has 5 different shapes: Arrow, diamond, Heart, Square & Star. Each of the shapes are numbered so in addition to teaching your little one to buckle and unbuckle, it can also help them with shape identification and counting. There is also a side zipper pocket to assist with learning to zipper. The negative of this is that once unzipped, the pocket lining can be pulled out. After pushing it back in, the zipper can sometimes get caught on the lining if not properly pushed in. Ive had to help my son several times with it. My son is 3.5 so he is on the tail end of the age bracket but I got it for him anyway since he has recently taken an interest to buckles. As I mentioned, 1 of the buckles is a more difficult than the others so it took him a little bit to get it after showing him how to do it. He still reaches for it to do a round of buckling and I also realized that I could teach him how to do a lattice by intertwining the buckles but that may take a while for him to get the concept of. Overall, this is a pretty decent learning toy and I would recommend it. Children enjoy gets lots of use buckling and I unbuckle for one year olds. The only draw-back is the orange style buckle is hard to undue.

My toddler loves buckles, this is the perfect toy to keep him busy.
