Used it for the first time last night and I am so pleased with my purchase. My husband laughed at me when I said I wanted to order these… I hated how the cream would always get stuck under my nails and seemed impossible to get out. I’m going to make my husband use it next time so he can see how amazing and easy it is to spread the cream on baby! After applying, I simply stick the bumco to the top of the wipes caddy—super suction & easy to stick… finish up putting on diaper & dressing babe, then grab a wipe to easily wash it—wipes clean very fast! :) I also thought they were silly and didn’t put it on my registry originally— highly recommend to add to your registry/ or buy for someone having a baby! I also love that there’s a small one for the diaper bag!

I thought this was rediculous the first time its existence was mentioned. Now that I have been battling a diaper rash with one twin and using preventive creams with the other one, the baby bum brush is a valuable tool. I found the 2-pack perfect for my twins. Ill have several diaper rash creams to review here soon, but I used this with triple paste, destine, boudreaxs, Burts Bees and a Walgreens paste (as I said its a battle) and the brush truly does make a difference. Im spending extra time removing the cream from my hands. I can just use sanitizer or spray after a diaper change. With twins thats less time spent listening to my babies cry because they want a bottle, or comfort or goodness knows what! Theres no more cream in my hair, on my clothes, their clothes or my oranges (That was the final straw...didnt clean all the cream from my fingers nails, peeled and ate an orange...ate about a 1/4 teaspoon of boudreauxs cream...well its supposedly all natural). I simply sqiurt (tube) or scrape (tub) some cream onto the spatula and apply it thickly to my babies bottom. When I was using my fingers I would scrape or squirt 2X, with this spatula...Im using one pass. I am one more person who agrees that this tool will save thick product. I have not used it for a more oil based protectant like angel baby, earth mama bum cream. I use so little of this product with my fingers, I worry I would waste product with the spatula. If you are looking for a unique baby shower gift the mom-to be doesnt even know she needs, a way to simplify your diaper change routine or if you are thinking...I dont need this, its silly....trust me you need it, want it and should try it. I battled diaper rash for 3 days before I bought it and another 3 before the box arrived. I can honeslty say this product made a difference and has earned a permanent place on top of my changing table.

Total Game-changer. The smaller size is sturdier for scooping / applying so we like this size better than the big one which gets kinda flimsy.

Does what they’re supposed to. I like that the travel one comes with a case. the Big one doesn’t really suction to anything but they’re easy to wipe off. Bought because I have sensory problems but could live without if.

I am a first time mom, at 40, and my sister who was pregnant also with her second suggested I put this product on my registry. Im so glad I did, I love not having to get my hands all greasy and its easy to wipe clean with a wipe! I loved it so much I bought one for my niece who put it on her registry at my suggestion. So word of mouth is definitely spreading. I love the travel brush also, the case makes it easy to put away, even if I cant wipe it off right away, so it keeps my diaper bad and travel changing pad clean, the case is easy to clean as well.

Ill admit that when I first heart about parents using these butt spatulas when I was pregnant I thought it was a bit ridiculous. I was thinking that if youre THAT afraid to touch your childs butt, then maybe you simply arent cut out for parenting... But I stand corrected. The issue this product addresses is not butt-touching, but the fact that diaper cream is very sticky, hard to wipe-off or wash-out of different fabrics, and theres no time to wash your hands in between applying it and then re-dressing your kid during the diaper change process. Before I started using these I was routinely getting diaper cream all over my kids and my clothes, the furniture and other surfaces because I had no time in the melee of the diaper changing process to sufficiently wipe my fingers off post-application before having to touch other stuff to finish the job. These spatulas not only cut down on the mess, but also prevent me from burning through extra diaper wipes to try to get the diaper creme off my fingers. Furthermore, the thin, flexible edge of these spatulas makes it easy to really get the cream up in there (ie. deep in the crack of your kids butt) which is imperative if you want to avoid rashes. I went from a doubter to a believer who would recommend these to any new parent.
