Got it to strap my Milwaukee pack out boxes to my work van, they were a little too thick to pass through the pack out side bars but if you loop it through itself it works great. And its built pretty sturdy with thick material.

I already have a 30 cable from this company and like it; so I ordered this 15 one. The package said 15, but it is 30

Probably not the standard use case that people will buy this cable for, but I used it to secure my home gym equipment (e.g., kettle bells, bench press, etc.) that I brought into my office to use during lunch. On the days I ride my bike into the office, Ill lock that puppy up with this cable as well. Very thick and high quality, though havent tried cutting it to know its break point. Overall, I recommend!

This cable is reasonably convenient and effective to the extent possible - but NOTHING is perfect. The best you can really do is lock up the bike to a secure substantial structural element (pole etc.) with a smaller/tight U-Shackle lock combined with a cable or chain to loop through everything including the wheels and seat. If the bike is in a confined jammed up area, possibly with many other bikes, it will be harder to get tools physically onto the lock and cable/chain. Larger U-Shackle locks are more convenient than smaller ones, but are heavier and can more easily be twisted/tweaked/broken with large crowbars. Remember ANYTHING can be defeated, so dont leave the bike unattended any longer than necessary. Given access, tools, a little time, and lack of effective Law Enforcement, ANY bicycle security equipment can be DEFEATED. Security cables can be CUT with a sharp, well-adjusted bolt cutters, locks can be SHATTERED with a sledge/hammer & freezing agent, high-powered cordless grinders can CUT/DEFEAT hardened chains and lock shackles. lock cylinders can be DRILLED OUT/punched out. The dirtier and uglier your bike is the less attractive to thieves it will be. Good luck.

Got this to lock up two bikes while traveling. So far I have come back to our bikes being where we left them every time. I couldnt be happier!

I needed some sort of anti-theft protection for an electric smoker and grill that I have on my deck. I was able to thread the cable through the handles on both items and loop it around a steel pole nearby. It worked perfectly. It is very strong and would take some sort of saw to cut through it. I wont have to worry about someone deciding to take my smoker or grill either as a prank or for real. You will need a combination lock of some sort to hold the two ends of the cable together. When I need to use either the smoker or grill all I have to do is open the lock and simply remove the cable from the handle of whichever unit I am using. When finished, I simply loop the cable back through the handle and lock the two ends of the cable together. A very simple solution but a very strong one.
