I use these on my stage light’s because the stage light power output for daisy chaining needed this adapter. Very happy that I run one power cable and daisy chain off of each light to help with cable clutter.

the best way to handle this function would be for reasonably priced cord cap

I used these to connect computer gear to a PDU on my server rack. They are long and flexible enough that they can be routed, feel sturdy, and did what they were supposed to do.

For my latest order of these, the page still claims they are rated for 13A -- which would imply they are still 16AWG.
