This is prefect for when you need to put a shelving unit or desk in front of your wall port. Connected perfectly, no internet issues, and compatible with the more common CAT5 cables.

Very happy with this cable. Having the 90 degree bend makes it easier to fit behind furniture. No noticed drop of speed or signal. Dont know why I didnt think of this earlier!

Thick wire, very well constructed and reinforced ends. Very happy with the purchase. I just needed it to plug into a wall jack and still be able to push an entertainment center up close to the wall.

Exactly as pictured- just had a unique situation that I wanted to share in case it helps the next person down the line.

I bought two of these to connect a HDBaseT CAT6 cable to two overhead projectors. This cable works perfect and the RJ45 connection has a nice positive click and lock on both ends. My CAT6 cable snaps nicely into the female end and the male end of this cable snaps snugly into the projector port. I would recommend this cable for this type of application.

I bought this right-angle extension cable for an install that had some clearance issues with a nearby wall. The cable assembly itself is of very good quality (no cheap, off-brand feeling here) but there is one detail that keeps it from getting more stars - the locking tab on the right-angle portion. I dont know it is the shape of the tab or if the rubber protective boot is weird, but I cannot unlatch the locking tab to remove the cable using my bare fingers. I have to use a flathead screwdriver to get the tab released. I tried this end of the cable on various devices thinking it was not the cable that has an issue, but in all cases I still needed a tool of some sort to push the locking tab down enough to release. I have many CATx/RJ45 cables around with the same protective boot design and they all release easily - all except for this particular one. Aside from that, the rest of the cable is very good. Network speeds are unaffected and connections are reliable and solid.

ScanGauge 3 has an awkward port placement on the back which makes it difficult to mount. This adapter makes it much easier to connect the port as it routes the cable to the left rather than straight out of the back port.

This is the correct angle that I needed for the cable. My Ethernet wire comes from behind the desk so this adapter will keep it close to the edge of the laptop. The only thing I dont like is that it is very difficult to press the tab to disconnect. There is a cover over the tab that is very thick and I am unable to press it. I will have to cut it off or continue to use a small screwdriver to release it.
