While I love the nostalgia factor of this little case, and the color combo is pretty and true to the picture, the hinges and construction seem lower quality and there are some sharp plastic edges on the handle. The mirror inside doesn’t seem to fit into the housing correctly, and it also appears as if it’s poorly attached, and might come out eventually. If you liked these as a kid or teen, then they are what you remember, just not as well made. I would not use this for traveling as an adult, but I think it might be fine for a careful child.

> 3 dayThis was the second caboodle I purchased. It arrived with the clasp broken and just propped up to look like it was clasped. I don’t know if it was a broken return but it makes the caboodle useless. Items need to be checked before being sent to a customer that did not buy a damaged product. It seems to be happening now more then it has been lately.
