Cabosil - Fumed Silica Thickener in Quart Tub

This is perfect for thickening up epoxy for dioramas and resin art. Just add slowly and mix thoroughly.

This was my first time using thickened epoxy. It was easy to use and worked great.

Thickened up my resin for mold making. But not a lot of value per ounce. Seems a little pricey for the small amount you’re getting.

I needed something to thicken some silicone fluid and this stuff did the trick.

We use this product to thicken silkscreen ink. Works well.

Used as rigidizer for my kaowool in my forge seemed to work perfect. Time will tell.

I used this product to mix with Pros-aide to create a cabo-patch compound used for filling in defects in facial prosthetics. The quality of the product was perfect for this application. The size of the container worked perfectly.

This is a great product for fly fisherman to use and be able to buy in bulk as apposed to paying for individual bottles of floatant.

I’d previously bought the System Three fumed thickener to used in Epoxy resin. That stuff was super chunky. The Cab-O-Sil is much better. Very easy to mix to an even smooth consistency. I’m actually looking to create projects just for this.

Worked great!! Used this to harden ceramic blanket for propane forge. Took a bit longer to dry than I wanted but was a lot cheaper than the premixed stuff.
