> 24 hourVery sturdy construction unlike all the cheap, stiff braided USB-C/Thunderbolt cables being hawked on Amazon and elsewhere! Thunderbolt 4 active cable with high PD and data speed ratings. Nothing is forever but CalDigit comes close at this point in time. A 2-meter cable which charges my MacBook Pro as fast as any available, Super Fast charging for my Samsung Galaxy S22+, 40GBps data transfers for my portable SSD and CFExpress card reader: all at 2 meter length!! Worth the premium price!

> 24 hourThe 2m cable works perfectly with my CalDigit TS3 Plus & my ‘17 MacBook Pro. The original 0.5m cable that came with the TS3 Plus was just too short for my needs. The 2m cable allows me to move the TS3 Plus off my desk and next to my router on a side table. Plug in my backup drive & everything is sweet. No issue with performance. Delivers enough power to my MacBook Pro & my desk is uncluttered.

> 24 hourBought this because the same brand 3 that came with my lenovo docking station about 2 years ago was not working. My monitor connected to the docking station would flick out and back on. Did not have the problem with this one. Seems to work well. Also connecting wireless mouse and wired keyboard through the docking station.

> 24 hourI plug my Macbook into a Caldigit dock to power it on the sofa, and use it quite a bit that way; it tends to bend the cable too much perhaps, because every 3-4 months they will fail. But theyre great until then, and if youre not bending/flexing it continually l like me, it seems high quality. I get full TB3 at this length. My understanding is that this IS an active cable.

> 24 hourCaldigit replied on another question that this cable should work with Lenovo TB3 Docks. It does not. I have 2 different Lenovo TB3 docks and test the cable with Lenovo Ts470s and X1c6 and get screen flickers with this cable. The slightest movement of the cable with also give you a static shower. I have a short passive Caldigit cable with works but this active cable does not do the job.
