I’ve done yoga for years and have found what you wear can hinder or help you. Initially I had a pair of yoga pants that were loose and I kept stepping on the legs and slipping and then I got a pair that was a bit more form fitting. That was my first foray into a wide waist band. At first since I didn’t really feel anything digging into my sides, I was afraid they wouldnt stay up. However, they were fine I was so much more comfortable. These pants were a step further and a bit more sleek than my prior ones. I was hesitant to get a really sleek form fitting set like this one, as well, I’m older and overweight. THat seemed more appropriate to the young and slim. However I decided, what the heck, let’s try them. These pants are amazing. First of all running your hand on the material gives you a feeling of luxury. They are smooth and dense. Once you put them on, they flatter you. The last thing you want in yoga class is to be all jiggly and these pants smooth stuff down and support the tummy and buttocks. You feel like you are pampering yourself without appearing too old and jiggly. We have done all sorts of twisting and turning and these pants have held up wonderfully. Occasionally when I am twisted all up and bending forward, I can feel the waist band, but I’m okay with that. They are staying where they are supposed to. Another think I liked about these pants is that they washed well. My other pair which has a cottony feel managed to attract every ounce of cat hair and lint in the dryer. These still retained their smooth skin feel. HOWEVER, I goofed and dried them. At first I thought, whoops, everything is fine, but I think they are now a half size smaller. I wore them today and they were tight. Hopefully they will stretch out and when I wash them next, I will not dry them. Either that, or I will wear them wet, in hopes to get them to stretch. Any hints would be appreciated.

Best leggings ever. Heavy, warm and durable. I ordered both black and gray. The gray ones are a bit tighter and a little shorter - odd. The black ones are wonderful.

These are probably the most comfortable leggings that I have ever owned. They arent too tight and the fabric has good stretch. The waist is high and doesnt roll down while you are wearing them. They look great on. They also arent thin so you dont have to worry about your underwear showing through. The material has a matte finish, so they dont look like the kind that you should only wear for working out. I think that you can do almost anything in them that you want. I like to wear these to work out, walk my dogs and lounge around in. I dont think that they look bad even if you want to wear them like regular pants. I am very pleased with these leggings and I would recommend them to anyone.

Im on the shorter side - 51 - and am a little bit bigger proportionally in the legs/buttocks area. A Medium fit me perfectly with no excessive length in the leg. Though, I usually fit into a Small fine, so I feel these leggings may run sliiightly on the smaller side. These leggings are great for the fall, winter, spring, & cool summer nights. Theyre extremely comfortable & easy to maneuver in. Not see through at all. I love em & plan to buy more!
