Canon CLI-42 8 PK Value Pack Ink, 8 Pack Compatible to PIXMA PRO-100

I thought I was losing my ability to see color, until I bought these. Now I can honestly say, “My ink was getting low not macular degeneration.”

Ink is too expensive

Got this for a Canon Pixma Pro-100. For pictures, I like to use only OEM inks and papers. Of course they produce the best pictures possible with the printer. My biggest complaint is the cost of these inks. Individually they are expensive. In this set you save a bit of money, but still expensive. The wells are small, about the same size as my Pixma iP5000 BCI6 cartridges. Price wise, the Pro-100 ink cost about 50% more than the iP5000 inks (which I think are already expensive). I know the technology has progressed some, but ink is ink and I doubt there is that much more cost involved in producing this ink. The size bothers me too. The printer, Pro-100, has a huge footprint. There is plenty of room inside for larger cartridges. Maybe it has something to do with the weight on the print head? It also bothers me that the Canon printers seem to prime themselves wasting this expensive ink.

I purchase this ink regularly - it creates a beautiful photo print. I wish the cartridges were larger, but that is the way the printer is designed.

It was great to get my ink in a box that wasnt damaged and looking like it had been put through the wringer. Looks like a brand new box of ink. I look forward to buying more ink and other products from you in the future.

Once again Amazon has beat others pricing on this ink for my Canon professional printer. Its so easy to order and it is always there on time. I got tired of running around looking in office supply stores for it when I was low. Sometimes they dont have it, or promise the truck will be here today, Ive heard that story more times then I like to admit. With Amazon my ink is always there when I need it. This is not a knock off product it is the same very high quality ink for your printer you expect, and like I said the price is terrific!

These are genuine canon inks, knock off inks can not match the quality. Arrived fast and as described.

Received order. All seemed to be Canon factory cartridges. Installed two with no problems on my Pro-100 photo printer.

These dont dry out. I sometimes go months between print jobs and the ink stays fresh and ready to go. Colors are good, and I expect these will last a long time since my oldest prints with this ink are about 8 years old now and still looking great. Never had them jam or leak; no problems at all.

The ink is perfect of course its Canon. Its just way too much money. I ordered some from eBay, a top seller, he did the refills. He could not match this Inc. Ive never had anyone not be able to match the colors using a canon refills, except for this printer. I should just buy a new one.
