Canon CLI-42 Photo Magenta Compatible to PIXMA PRO-100

Cant say enough about the Pixma Pro-100 printer and the inks! Great products! The photos are gorgeous. We mainly print 13 x 19s, but just for home use so were not printing often. We have not kept track as to how long a tank lasts, but because that would depend on what colors are being used for each photo, it would be difficult to calculate. I would never consider using any other ink, but the reason for 4 stars over 5 is the price/tank; it gets a bit pricey!

My PRO-100 printer works very well and it uses these cartridges. I do believe they are overpriced for the amount of ink in each cartridge. And Canon should put 2 black cartridges in the multi-pack, since the black is used at least twice as frequently as the individual colors.

We are using this ink for a Canon Pixma Pro-100 printer. While there are a lot of off brand, generics, and even ink refill kits, we got tired of the constant issues caused by inferior inks or inferior generic / refurbished cartridges. We just want to print in high quality. Generating bad prints and causing pront head clogs just to save $2 a cartridge is not worth it to us. The genuine Canon ink is consistently the best quality and just works.

New inks do not last very long. Costly.

How can you rate a genuine printer ink in one color? It works just the way its supposed to, duh...
